Chicken pie: with breast, minced meat and liver

In our folk culture cakes are given a special honorable place. In the old days they were loved and not only often cooked in simple peasant families, but also regularly decorated with tables of the venerable nobility. Pies were very different - fried or baked in a home oven, stuffed with all sorts of fillings and elegantly decorated with simple patterns. Today, even after several centuries, our love for home baking has not become less. Each hostess knows how to make a delicious and fragrant cake for her family. Chicken pie is perhaps one of the simplest options. He is quick in cooking, he is loved by both children and adults, and he always does it! Variations of recipes for such a meal are very many, and some of them we will gladly share with you.

Pie with chicken - the easiest recipe

This option can serve as an excellent basis for culinary creativity. Ingredients will require the most simple, they can be safely supplemented with various products, after which each time you have on your table will be a new and original chicken pie. The recipe is simple and will come to the rescue even for those of you who are just starting to learn a culinary letter.

Ingredients:

  • Liquid sour cream, yogurt or yogurt - 2 items;
  • Flour (depending on the variety) - 4-5 items;
  • Sunflower oil - 80 g;
  • Soda - 1 tsp;
  • Sugar - 1.5 tsp;
  • a pinch of salt.

For the preparation of the filling you can take any meat, but especially tender will be a pie with chicken breast :

  • Chicken - ½ kg;
  • Mayonnaise - 3 tbsp. L .;
  • Onion - 2-3 heads;
  • Salt and spices.

Cooking process

Add all the remaining ingredients to the flour and mix the dough. If you use thick sour cream, dilute it a little with water so that the dough is not dense. It must be properly kneaded, so that it is plastic, and then put into the refrigerator for half an hour. It's time to prepare the filling.

Chicken pie will be more juicy and tasty if the meat is roasted, not boiled. Cut fresh fillets into small cubes and fry in vegetable oil a little, then add the chopped onions. Once the onion is browned, add the mayonnaise, stir and remove the frying pan from the fire.

Pre-turn the oven on 200 degrees. A ball of dough should be divided in two. Each part roll out to the desired size for your baking tray or baking dish. At the bottom of the form lay the parchment paper, on top - the rolled out dough sheet, but so that its edges form a rim. Evenly distribute the cooled stuffing from meat and cover with a second sheet of dough. Cut the edges of the cake and make a few punctures with a fork so that it does not swell during baking. It should be baked for about half an hour, a rosy fragrant crust should form on top. The pie is ready!

Recipe for puff cake with chicken and potatoes

You can cook a pie with chicken forcemeat, if for some reason you did not have a file. We will cook it with potatoes and onions, but in this you can add cheese or any other ingredient that you will like.

Ingredients:

  • Mincemeat of chicken - ½ kg;
  • Puff pastry (purchased or homemade) - ½ kg;
  • Average potatoes - 3-4 pieces;
  • Bulbs - 2-3 pcs .;
  • An egg to lubricate the pie;
  • Pepper and salt.

Cooking process

Chicken pie will cook quickly, so turn on the oven in advance to 180 degrees.

Ingredients:

  • Milk - ½ item;
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp. L .;
  • Any vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. L .;
  • Flour - 2 items;
  • Baking yeast - 1 tbsp. L .;
  • Salt - 1 tsp.

To prepare the filling you will need:

  • Liver - 300 g;
  • Rice - 1 item;
  • Medium bulbs - 3 pcs .;
  • Vegetable oil, salt and pepper;
  • Mayonnaise - 2-3 tbsp. L.

Cooking process

First you need to prepare the dough. In the heated milk, add salt, sugar, butter and yeast, mix. When the yeast completely dissolves - enter the flour and cook the dough. Cover with a napkin or towel and let it brew, but for now, let's start preparing the filling.

Rice boil and rinse. Onion and liver should be finely chopped and fried in vegetable oil. When the mince is almost ready, season with salt, add your favorite spices and mayonnaise. After mix the minced meat with rice and cool.

Divide the dough in half. Each part roll in the form of a baking sheet or baking dish. The pan should be greased with oil and lightly sprinkled with semolina. Lay the first layer of the dough, on top - the prepared filling with an even layer. Cover with the remaining layer and patch the edges. Make a few punctures with a fork over the whole pie and allow to stand for about 20 minutes. As soon as the dough rises a little - send it to bake for 20-30 minutes in a hot oven. When it is ready - remove from the oven, grease with butter and cover with a napkin. In half an hour your chicken pie can be served to the table.
