Prunes are a wonderful addition to the usual salad. In addition, he will never be superfluous in the composition of this salad - on the contrary, his presence gives the dish a special taste. In addition, such a salad can easily decorate the festive table, because, you see, already pretty fed up with the usual Olivier and crab salad - you always want something new and unusual. And in this case it is the salad "Beryozka" that can come to your aid.

When decorating a ready-made salad, you can pretty much train your imagination. The ingredients that make up the lettuce allow you to put it in the form of a birch trunk. Many lovers of decorating dishes even spread out a whole tree from it: the trunk forms the salad itself, and the crown is laid out of greenery. It's very beautiful, it should be noted.

So, in order to prepare this salad, you will not need too many ingredients, and besides, among their number you will not see unfamiliar product names - they are all familiar to you for a long time and almost every day you encounter them.

Prepare a salad "Birch" with pre-treatment of some of its ingredients. First of all, carefully wash the prunes. Very many mistresses are trying to soak it for cooking their dishes - in fact, this is wrong, because in this case the fruits of prunes only accumulate a considerable amount of moisture. Then, of course, this has a negative effect on the taste of the prepared dish. Not an exception and a salad "Birch" - for its preparation prunes are not soaked, but simply washed in cold water. If it is flowing - it's even better. Thoroughly washed prunes should be cut into thin straws and put in the dishes in which you will subsequently serve a salad. Prunes should be so much that it covers the bottom of the dishes completely. In general, for preparing a dish, it is worth to take about 150 grams of fruit - this amount should be enough. If it is not enough, then the salad will turn sour and taste it will not be so bright.

As you have already understood, the salad "Birch" refers to the category of puff. So as soon as you lay out the first layer, you can start preparing the second one. It consists of fried with onion mushrooms. For this salad mushrooms are best, which, fortunately, is very easy to find in any store - they will need a colum of 200 grams. For frying, cut the mushrooms with thin plates. As for onions, then it must be cut with straw, and, for this purpose, you will have enough and two medium heads, or one, but large. These ingredients must be fried in butter on a hot frying pan. Of course, for frying, you can choose and ordinary sunflower oil, but in this case the taste will not be so gentle. Once you finish frying mushrooms, lay them on prunes.

Now about the third layer - it consists of chicken fillet. To prepare a salad it will take about 400 grams. Meat should be well boiled, and then, after cooling, cut into cubes. The chicken should be laid over mushrooms with onions.

Then boil three eggs hard. After that, cool them and grate on a large grater. After that, also grate on the grater three medium cucumbers, which should be fresh. Mix these ingredients and lay them in the fourth, last layer.

Remember that every layer of this salad should be greased with mayonnaise - so it will be more juicy and tasty. On top of the salad is also worth smearing mayonnaise, and then put a small amount of prunes, cut into thin strips, imitating the birch bark.
