Pour vegetable oil into the frying pan, about three to four tablespoons. As you prepare, you can pour in more if it seems that the paste is too thick.

When the oil warms up, throw a few cloves of garlic, thinly sliced. It should be browned until golden brown. After catch the garlic, put it separately.

After throw in butter one middle head of the chopped onion (shallot or bulb). Also, soak in a frying pan until golden. After catch it, put it to the garlic.

In the finished broth, add a piece of galangal with a thickness of seven millimeters (or ginger a piece of a half-centimeter thick). Further throw there kaffir (two leaves), a stick of lemongrass length of ten centimeters (or peel from one lemon).

The resulting mixture cook for about four minutes, so that the seasonings give their flavor and aroma. Then take out all the leaves, pieces and sticks, put them on a plate so they do not interfere.

Next, without removing the broth from the fire, add the paste. The amount of it depends on how much the spicy dish you want to get. For two servings of soup, one tablespoon with a slide will be enough.
