Earlier, sandwiches were associated with "improper food" - everyone probably heard the phrase "There is a lot of bad weather!" Now the harmless designs of bread and fillings are rehabilitated due to their versatility and satiety. Sandwiches are the closest relatives of sandwiches, differing only in that they include two pieces of bread. You can buy them at any point in the public catering, but it's much more useful, more budgetary and tastier to do by yourself. They can be made even dietary! For example, a sandwich with chicken, in which little bread, but a lot of stuffing. Supplement it with fresh vegetables - and a delicious, healthy lunch is ready!

Panini with chicken and cheese

Panini is a beautiful Italian variation of the famous hot sandwich. Of course, it is most convenient to cook it in a special apparatus or waffle iron, but the usual frying pan will do the same - just use a small press on top to "hook up" the products inside. So, prepare a hot sandwich with chicken and cheese! We need the following products:

  • Grain bread - 2 slices;
  • Ready-made chicken meat (baked, boiled) - 70 g;
  • Cheese "Mozzarella" - 2 small balls;
  • Tomato - 2 slices;
  • French mustard - 1 tsp.

All products are given for 1 serving, multiply by the number of eaters if necessary.

Cooking?

Put a medium-thick frying pan with a thick bottom. Do not lubricate with oil.

Slice the bread with mustard, top with tomato, chicken and sliced cheese alternately. Press from above with a second piece of bread.

Lay out the resulting sandwich on the heated frying pan, place a heavy piece on top for a better contact - for example, a jar with a flat bottom.

Turn the sandwich with chicken when it gets brown, and fry it on the second side, also using the load on top.

Your task - to ensure that he has acquired a uniform crispy crust, and cheese inside melted, soaking the filling and giving it a rich creamy taste. That's all! Your sandwich is ready, you can eat it right away or take it with you as a snack.

Sandwich with chicken a la "Caprese"

"Caprese" is a famous Italian salad, consisting of tomatoes, Mozzarella cheese, fresh basil and pesto sauce. We decided to add the boiled chicken fillet to it for a greater satiety, as it perfectly fits into the general fresh-spicy taste of the sandwich. This recipe is more complicated than the previous one, but the result is worth it. A set of ingredients:

  • Raw chicken fillet - 120 g;
  • Ready-made pesto sauce - 1 tbsp. L .;
  • Bread (best of all ciabatta) - 2 slices;
  • Cheese "Mozzarella" - 2 balls;
  • Fresh tomato - 2 slices;
  • Fresh basil - 3 leaves;
  • Olive oil - 1 tsp;
  • Salt, black pepper - to taste.

Preparation

Start by chicken. Marinate it in pesto sauce, leave for 15 minutes, then tightly wrap in foil and bake for half an hour at a temperature of 180 ° C. Cool without removing the foil.

Completely finished cold chicken cut into slices.

In order to collect this sandwich with chicken (photo below), put a slice of bread on the tomatoes, on top - sliced cheese.

Over the cheese "drip" the olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper and lay the leaves of basil.

On top of the greenery, spread the pieces of chicken.

Press the whole structure with a second slice of bread. If you want, then fry a sandwich, like panini in the recipe above, but it is delicious and so, in a cold form. Ideal for summer, especially if you cook chicken in advance.

Sandwich with chicken: take care in advance!

Sandwiches and sandwiches are good because they perfectly fit under the line "I blinded him from what was": they can be stuffed with everything that is found in the fridge. Great temptation to add meat ready-made semi-finished products, right? But in the name of a healthy diet, we strongly recommend not to get carried away by them. As an alternative, we advise you to cook a chicken pasta - a fine cold snack, which you can cut into slices and add to the sandwich. You can do with a margin and part of the freeze. So, take:

  • Chicken fillet - 500 g;
  • Mustard - 1 tsp;
  • Paprika (usual or smoked) - 1 tsp;
  • Chili - 0.5 tsp;
  • Garlic - 2 cloves;
  • Black - pepper to taste;
  • Water (1) - 1 tbsp. L .;
  • Water (2) - 500 ml;
  • Salt - 1 tsp. With a slide.

You will also need a thick culinary thread.

Step by step

Dissolve the salt in cold water (500 ml).

Put chicken fillets in this solution and clean it for two hours.

Grind garlic, combine with paprika, mustard, chili, black pepper and water. Mix the resulting paste until smooth.

Remove the fillets, dry and grease a half of the mixture.

Form the fillets of sausages, for a greater density with a culinary thread.

Obtain the semifinished products from the top with plenty of grease on the remaining paste. Put the fillets in the refrigerator again for 3-4 hours.

Preheat the oven to 250 o C.

Cover the baking sheet with baking paper, put chicken rolls and bake for 20 minutes.

Turn off the oven and, without opening the door, leave the pastry in it to cool for 2 hours.

After this, the ready-made snack is tightly packed in foil and put in the refrigerator for the night.
