Cooking rice with green peas and corn

A great side dish is rice with green peas and corn. Cooking can be prepared with canned or frozen vegetables. The very thing to do at home is simple.

The first recipe

For cooking, you will need:

  • Two glasses of broth (chicken or vegetable);
  • Two st. Spoons of butter (cream or vegetable);

Preparation

  1. First, pour rice into a bowl, rinse.
  2. Wash Bulgarian pepper, peel, cut into strips.
  3. Wash carrots, clean. Then cut it into strips.
  4. Peel the bulb. Then cut into cubes.
  5. Wash the greens, cut it thinly.
  6. Then add the vegetable oil to the bowl of the multivark.
  7. After that, add rice washed, as well as chopped vegetables (onion, Bulgarian pepper and carrots).
  8. Then add corn and peas. Add these ingredients to your taste.
  9. After a good mix. Then add the pepper, salt. Fill with the correct amount of water. After selecting the mode "Buckwheat", cook for forty minutes. Rice with vegetables before serving sprinkle with herbs.

Alternative dish

Now consider how to prepare a salad of corn canned. In this dish there will be also rice, as well as several other ingredients. This salad is delicious, hearty, but light. I would like to note that the dish is simple, for a holiday it will not do. But for a dinner or a snack salad is perfect.

For preparation it is required:

  • Two boiled eggs;
  • 200 grams of canned corn;
  • 150 grams of boiled shrimp;
  • Half a glass of boiled rice;
  • Art. A spoon of lemon juice, vegetable oil;
  • 75 g of olives;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • 20 g of parsley and dill;
  • A pinch of black pepper.

Preparation of salad

  1. Initially, boil rice in large quantities of water, then rinse it.
  2. Boil the eggs, cool and clean.
  3. Then cut them into small cubes.
  4. If you take the raw chilled shrimp, then lightly boil them in salted water for about 4 minutes.
  5. Afterwards, in a container in which you make a salad, lay the chopped eggs, corn, and shrimp.
  6. Then add the boiled and already cooled rice. Salt and pepper the salad.
  7. Then add the olives (sliced or the whole).
  8. Pour oil, lemon juice.
  9. Stir the salad. Before serving sprinkle a little chopped greens. Note that if desired, you can add green peas to this dish. It will give the salad a new taste.
