Certification of a copy of the document: the procedure of the procedure and its meaning
Carrying out this process allows you to send papers by mail. Since the signature and seal of the notary, put on a copy of the document, argue that the content of the duplicate fully corresponds to the original.
It should immediately be noted that only an employee of a notary's office can hold an assurance of a copy of the document. That is, any other signature, seal, etc. does not certify the content. Even if we consider the situation when copies of documents from the enterprise are provided, none of the stamps delivered in the accounting department or the secretariat, does not confirm the authenticity written in the duplicate.
Certification of a copy of the document may be required in many situations, especially those involving the clarification of disputes, in particular financial ones, from a distance. In such cases, the papers will act as a guarantee that the applicant communicates reliable information, and the notary who signs his stamp and signature acts as the guarantor of this.
Here it should be noted that if the certification of documents allows you to confirm the contents specified in them, then everything is the opposite. To each paper, where the authenticity of the signature was approved, a special explanatory note is attached . It contains an indication that the notary confirms that the signature was delivered in his presence and belongs to the person whose passport data is contained in the note. But at the same time, it also specifies that the content was not checked for compliance with reality.
Also there is a notarial certification of the passport. This procedure is well known to many students who applied to several universities at once. In this case, the entrants had to certify at once a package of papers, including a passport.
Almost every citizen can take an assurance of a copy of the document. Especially often it is necessary to confirm the signature. This is due to the fact that many offices work at a distance, which means that it is necessary to submit an application via mail. To avoid fraud, organizations require mandatory presence of accompanying paper from a notary, which is an official document confirming that the request is made by the citizen specified in the letter, and not by someone else.
