The best actors-fighters: photos and roles

How to play in an action movie, if you do not know a single combat technique and do not know how to hold a gun in your hands? Teaching a regular actor to martial arts is a long and costly business. That's why directors prefer to take real sportsmen in movies with a lot of fighting scenes. Actors-fighters, the list of which is presented in this article, always performed on their set all the tricks. Because from a young age they are practicing masters of martial arts.

Talgat Nigmatullin

Actors-fighters in the national cinema are rare, and in Soviet films - and even more so. However, in the 80s, the Soviet Union had its own star of militants - an Uzbek-born actor Talgat Nigmatullin.

Talgat has a difficult fate: his father died in a mine when the boy was only two years old; The mother could not independently pull the family, so the child was identified in the orphanage. There Nigmatullin suffered from rickets and for a long time could not fit into any company of peers, because he was weak and did not know how to stand up for himself. Then the future actor made the choice to turn his body into an ideal machine. He started with athletics, and ended up getting a black belt in karate.

When the first Soviet thriller, Pirates of the Twentieth Century, was filmed, Nigmatullin received in the film one of the main roles - the pirate and villain Saleh. Then Talgat took part in the filming of such films as "The Right to Shot", "State Border", "Alone Without Weapons". And in all these pictures, the actor demonstrated his excellent physical training and techniques of karate. Unfortunately, the actor was killed in 1985, scoring to death in one of the apartments in Vilnius.

Actors-fighters: photo and biography of Yevgeny Sidikhin

Yevgeny Sidikhin is a recognized star of Russian militants. Russian actors-fighters - a unique phenomenon. Maybe this explains the fact that, since the 90's and to this day inclusive, Sidikhin remains a very popular artist: his filmography has more than 80 works.

Few people know, but Sidikhin five times became the champion of Leningrad in freestyle wrestling. Then the actor went through the Afghan war, serving in the tank battalion. He was in Afghanistan for three years and was fired in 1985. Only after that began his professional career in film and theater.

In the 90's, when Russian directors rushed to shoot militants, Eugene Sidikhin appeared in almost every one of them. He knew firsthand what war was, what weapons were and how to neutralize his opponent, so he looked very naturally, confidently and organically in the frame. The most famous films with the actor's participation: "Russian transit", "For the last feature", "Wolf's blood", "Bandit Petersburg" and many others.

Steven Seagal

Actors-fighters of martial arts have always been in demand in Hollywood. But, perhaps, surpassed all in this regard Stephen Seagal.

Segal started karate from the age of seven. At fifteen he began to comprehend the art of aikido, and at 17 he moved to Japan and in a few years received the first dan in martial arts. Stephen became the only American who was allowed to open a dojo in Japan (that is, a martial arts school).

Meanwhile, Segal continued to train, he was taught by the greatest masters, in particular, Seysaki Abe, who has 10 dan in aikido. To date, Seagal has the 7th dan Aikido Aikikai and its own martial arts schools in several countries.

For the first time on the set, Steven Seagal was in 1982, it happened in Japan. Then he was invited as a consultant on Japanese fencing. Since then, Segal has not left the movie screens. To date, his filmography more than 50 works.

Chuck Norris

Actors-fighters are incredibly in demand in the cinema. And Chuck Norris's career is a direct proof of that.

Chuck served in the Air Force in South Korea. The young man, probably, and could not then think that he would someday be in demand in the cinema. It was in South Korea that he became interested in judo and karate. By 1963, Chuck Norris already had a black belt in karate and opened his first martial arts school.

In 1972, Norris accidentally falls into the film "The Way of the Dragon" with the legendary Bruce Lee. On the shooting Chuck invited one of the Hollywood actors, who trained at his school.

However, some military techniques were not enough to become famous. At age 34, Chuck went to study acting classes. After he received the appropriate education, Norris returned to the movies and has since played many good roles: for example, the Texas Ranger in the series "Walker". By the way, this series enjoyed such popularity that it went from 1993 to 2001 inclusive.

Norris recently celebrated his 75th birthday. But this did not stop him from starring in the films "The Expendables-2" (2012) and The Finisher, which will be released in 2016.

Dolph Lundgren

Actors-fighters usually begin to train from the age of 13-15. The same thing did Dolph Lundgren, when he was a teenager. In his homeland, in Sweden, he studied, like an obsessive, a style of karate, like Kyokushinkai. To engage in martial arts he was pushed by poor health, as well as his father, who considered him a failure. Dolph Lundgren caught fire to prove the opposite and "rose to" the captain of the Swedish national team in karate.

When Lundgren left Sweden, he already owned the black belt of the 2nd Dan Karate, and also had a master's degree in chemical engineering. In New York, where the future movie star settled, Dolph was not lucky at once. In the modeling business he was not accepted, so I had to work as a bouncer at the club. But friends advised Lundgren to try himself at the cinema.

The young man took a photo, promo video and gave it to one of the actors. He soon invited him to the samples in the film "Rocky 4". As a result, the role of the Soviet boxer went to the Swede.

Dolph Lundgren starred in a huge number of militants. He is still a popular actor to this day: only in 2016 the actor is scheduled three premieres.

Jackie Chan

Actors-fighters, performing their own stunts in the movies, always risk their lives. Jackie Chan does not think his life without risk. Since 1962, the actor has acted in more than a hundred films, and in each of them there are complex and dangerous tricks, for which no actor in Hollywood, probably, will undertake.

Jackie is a master of kung fu. He has a wonderful body, is an expert in acrobatics. Naturally, he made the first steps in cinema as a stuntman. But having gained some experience in the movie, Chan suddenly decides to start shooting films himself. As a result, a unique comedy genre is born in the cinema, in which the most complicated tricks are widely demonstrated and there is a flashing humor. Chan still does not depreciate this role. And, to be honest, no one else can do it in such films, because every such film is a dance between life and death: Chan had so many injuries that no insurance company of the world agrees to provide him with insurance. Most often, a fracture of the right ankle occurred, which is why Chan tries to use more of his left leg during the jumps in the last films.

Actors-fighters (America): Jean-Claude Van Damme

Despite the fact that Jean-Claude Van Damme comes from Belgium, he is considered an American actor. In addition to the fact that Van Damme is a professional bodybuilder, in 1979 he became European champion in kickboxing and karate (by the way, in the second he has a black belt).

His first role in Hollywood, Van Damme was in 1986. If Lundgren at the dawn of his career played a Soviet boxer, then Van Damme - Russian karateka-mafiosi Ivan Krashinsky. Then there were the films "Bloody Sport", "Kickboxer" and many others.

Jean-Claude is known for his perfect physical form. In particular, he knows how to do the famous trick: cross-twine in real time on two synchronously moving trucks. In 2016, three new films with the participation of an actor appear on the screens.

Mark Dakaskos

Mark Dakaskos is known to the audience for roles in such films as "American Samurai", "Only the Strongest", "Weeping Killer", as well as filming in the TV series "Hawaii 5.0" and "CSI: Crime Scene".

Dakaskos is a master in martial arts such as karate, kung fu. In Taiwan, he studied Chinese judo, a little later mastered various styles of Shaolin, tai chi, Chin Na and Shui Jao. That's why Dakaskos can be called a universal fighter, which is happily used in his films by both American and Russian filmmakers (Daskasos starred in two Russian films).

Bruce Lee

The best fighters-actors respect and honor the memory of such a famous martial artist as Bruce Lee. To date, he still remains a cult persona. This person is the idol of all those who dream of engaging in or already practicing martial arts.

It was not just a Chinese and American actor - Bruce was considered a reformer in the field of martial arts, a philosopher. He also worked on producing films, directing and writing scripts.

The famous actor died unexpectedly for everyone: he developed a brain edema for some reason, death occurred instantly. The soldier was only 32 years old. His last film, in which he never managed to finish his role, was filmed for five years with the help of stuntmen and doublers.
