Esenin's children and their fate

Romance was the meaning of life and a source of inspiration for the blond, handsome poet Sergei Yesenin. A favorite of women, he was in a relationship with them to catch courage. And the result was new and new works, which to this day are teasing the souls of true lovers of Russian poetry.

He married four times, each time leaving in a relationship, as if in a pool. There were also fleeting short novels with women. Yesenin's children, like their mothers, suffered from a lack of attention on his part, because poetry occupied all the thoughts and time of this great man. The life of Sergei Alexandrovich once again proves that creative individuals can not fully give themselves to the family, like ordinary people.

In this article we will discuss how the destinies of the descendants of the great poet have developed. Where are the children of Yesenin? What did they devote their lives to? What do the poet's grandsons do? We will try to answer all of these questions below.

The first marriage with Anna Izryadnova. The birth of the eldest son

With Anna Romanovna Izryadnova, an educated girl from an intelligent Moscow family, Yesenin met at the Sytin printing house. She worked as a proof-reader, and at first he was a freight forwarder, and then he received the post of assistant proofreader. Relationships were born quickly, and young people began to live a civil marriage. In 1914, the birth of a son Yesenin and Izryadnova - Yuri. But the family life did not stick, and a year after the birth of the child the couple broke up. The main reason for the gap was the life, which very quickly seized the poet.

This was the first serious relationship that showed that in long-standing permanent unions the poet's creative soul sooner or later "asks" for freedom. Yesenin, whose wives and children never felt close to a firm man's shoulder, are still happy people. In their veins, the blood of the greatest of the people of our time flows. Each of the children the creator loved in his own way, tried to help financially, sometimes visited.

Yesenin did not renounce his son, but due to the fact that the marriage with Izryadnova was not registered, the woman had to get official recognition of the poet's paternity after his death in court.

The tragic fate of Yuri Yesenin

Yesenin's children are very attractive, including Yuri. The stately, smart young man dreamed of military service from his childhood. He graduated from the Moscow Aviation Technical School, after which he was sent to the Far East for further service. There and there was a tragic accident, because of which the life of a young man was cut off so early. Yuri on a false charge was arrested and taken to the Lubyanka. He was accused of involvement in a "counter-revolutionary fascist-terrorist group". At first he categorically refused his guilt, but as a result of the use of barbaric methods, recognition was knocked out of him. In 1937 he was shot. And almost 20 years later, in 1956, he was posthumously rehabilitated.

Sergei Yesenin and Zinaida Reich

In 1917, the poet marries Zinaida Raich. A year later, their joint daughter Tatyana appeared. Relations with his second wife also did not go well. Three years of marriage took place in constant quarrels and quarrels, as a result of which the couple converged and diverged several times. The son of Yesenin and Reich, Constantine, was born in 1920, when they were officially divorced and did not live together. Zabeemenev for the second time, Zinaida expected that in this way she could keep her beloved man by her side. However, the rebellious spirit of the poet did not allow Yesenin to enjoy a measured family life.

Vsevolod Meyerhold and Zinaida Reich

Yesenin's children found their second father when Zinaida Raikh's new husband, the famous director Vsevolod Meyerhold, adopted them.

He treated them well and considered them their children. The happy childhood flew very quickly, and a new shock awaited Tanya and Kostya. First, in 1937, Vsevolod Emilevich was arrested and subjected to execution. He was accused of international espionage in favor of Japan and England. And after a while their mother's life, Zinaida Nikolaevna, was cut short. She was brutally murdered in her own apartment under unclear circumstances.

However, the hardships did not prevent Yesenin and Zinaida Raich's children from passing their lives in a worthy way, and becoming famous and respected people.

Children Esenina and Zinaida Reich: Tatiana

Daughter Tanya, a beauty with blond curls, so similar to himself, Sergey Alexandrovich loved very much. When she lost her stepfather and mother at the age of twenty, she had a small child (son Vladimir) in her hands, and also her younger brother remained in her care. Another blow was the authorities 'decision to evict her and the children from her parents' apartment. However, a strong spirit Tatyana did not surrender to the will of fate. She managed to save the priceless archive of Meyerhold, who first hid in a dacha in the suburbs, and then, when the war broke out, he deposited with S. Eisenstein.

During the war, during the evacuation, Tatyana found herself in Tashkent, who became her family. The conditions were terrible, she and her family roamed the streets, until Alexandra Tolstoy, who knew and loved her father, came to her aid. Being at that time a deputy of the Supreme Council, he made a lot of efforts to knock out for the Tatiana's family a small room in a barrack.

Later, rising to her feet, Tatiana Sergeyevna achieved great success. She was a talented journalist, writer, editor. It was she who initiated the process of rehabilitation of his adoptive father Vsevolod Meyerhold. TS Esenina wrote a book, which contained her childhood memories of her parents, and published memoirs of Meyerhold and Reich. The well-known researcher of Meyerhold's creativity KL Rudnitsky admitted that Tatyana Sergeevna's materials served as the most important source of information about the work of the great director of the last century. Yesenin's children from Zinaida Nikolaevna Reich, in general, made great efforts to preserve the memory of their father, mother and stepfather.

The daughter of the poet for a long time was the director of the museum S. Yesenin. She passed away in 1992.

Konstantin

In 1938, Kostya Yesenin entered the Moscow Engineering and Construction Institute. Constantine, who was just 21 at the time of the beginning of the war, immediately decided to volunteer for the front. He passed the hardships of the war, was severely wounded several times, received three Orders of the Red Star. He returned home in 1944, when after another injury he was commissioned for health reasons.

Successfully proved himself in sports journalism, he did a lot of sports statistics. From his pen came out such books as "Football: records, paradoxes, tragedies, sensations", "Moscow football", "USSR national team". For many years he held the post of deputy chairman of the USSR Football Federation. Lived in Moscow. He died in 1986. And to this day the daughter of Konstantin Sergeevich is alive - Marina.

Proceeding from the foregoing, it can be concluded that the children of Yesenin and Reich were purposeful people who proved their strength of spirit and dignity in their personal and professional life. Each of them chose his own way, but neither Constantine nor Tatiana ever forgot that they are the children of a great man - the poet Sergei Aleksandrovich Yesenin.

Relations with Nadezhda Volpin

In 1920, Esenin met with poetess Nadezhda Volpin. Hope was carried away by poetry in her youth, was an active participant in the poetry studio "Green Workshop", which was led by Andrei Bely.

Her love affair with Esenin lasted long enough. May 12, 1924, she gave birth to Yesenin's son, whom he named Alexander.

Alexander Volpin - illegitimate son of Yesenin

When acquainting with the work of Sergei Alexandrovich and his biography, there are reasonable questions: are the children of Yesenin alive? Does one of his offspring write such talented poems as their ancestor? Unfortunately, as already mentioned above, the poet's three older children have already passed away. The only living one is the illegitimate son of the poet, Alexander Yesenin-Volpin. It can be safely said that he inherited the rebellious spirit of his father, but no one, even his children, could possibly write like Yesenin.

Alexander Sergeyevich studied at the Faculty of Mechanics of Moscow State University, then entered post-graduate studies. In 1949 he became a candidate of mathematical sciences. In the same year, he was first arrested for writing "anti-Soviet poems" and sent to compulsory treatment in a psychiatric hospital. And then for several years he remained in exile in Karaganda. Returning from exile, he began to deal with human rights activities, which from time to time was interrupted by numerous arrests and treatment in a psychiatric hospital. In total, Yesenin-Volpin spent 14 years in captivity.

The trio "Volpin, Chalidze and Sakharov" are the creators of the Human Rights Committee. Alexander Sergeevich is the author of the samizdat leadership, who narrates about "How to behave during interrogations".

The older children of Sergei Yesenin (see photo below) spent their entire lives in Moscow, while the youngest son Alexander Volpin emigrated to America in 1972, where he still lives. He was engaged in mathematics and philosophy. Now he lives his age in the United States, in a shelter for the elderly with mental disorders.

Sergei Vladimirovich Esenin - the grandson of the poet

Sergei Yesenin, whose children and grandchildren have become worthy people who have manifested themselves in various fields of activity, could be proud of their descendants. Each of them carried the love to the work of his great ancestor through his whole life.

For example, the son of Tatyana Esenina, Sergei Vladimirovich, who has worked in the construction industry for many years and is seriously involved in sports mountaineering, besides studying the family tree and helping the Yesenin museums recreate the moments of life of the great poet.

In his youth, he was engaged in football. Once his team won the junior championship of Uzbekistan. He was fond of chess. But the real passion for his life was mountaineering. And for 10 years, this occupation became his profession as well, when he taught mountain climbers.

He moved with his family to Moscow in the early 90s. This could be done earlier, because in 1957 his mother, Tatyana Yesenin was invited to return to the capital, but she did not want to live in a city where she tragically lost all her closest people.

Museums of the name of Sergei Yesenin

At the moment there are several museums dedicated to the life and work of this great man. Yesenin's children, a biography, whose photos are also exhibited in these museums, helped very much in the work of these organizations, especially Konstantin and Tatyana. And the grandson of the poet, his namesake Sergei, more than once helped organize this or that exhibition devoted to the life and work of the great poet. Sergei Vladimirovich believes that one of the best is Yesenin's museum, which is located in Tashkent. He also responds well to the capital's establishment, which is located in a house where the poet together with his father rented a house.

In the village of Konstantinovo, where Sergei Yesenin was born and spent his childhood, there is a whole museum complex. Until now, preserved a house where the future creator was born. Not all things in this house are real, but some are genuine. They really were in the hands of Sergei Yesenin. Children and grandchildren have replenished the collection of the museum complex with things that preserve the memory of their great ancestor. And Sergei Vladimirovich also participated in the organization of the Meyerhold Museum, providing many materials about the life of the director with Zinaida Reich.

Sergei Yesenin: children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren ...

In Russia, live two grandsons - Vladimir and Sergei, which has already been mentioned, the granddaughter of Marina, as well as their offspring, who have long become adults. In Vladimir Kutuzov (he took the name of his father, husband of Tatyana Yesenina), two sons. Sergei and his wife raised two beautiful daughters, Zinaida and Anna. Zinaida is engaged in teaching activities and devotes much time to compiling the genealogical tree of her family. She has a son. Anna is an artist. In her footsteps decided to go and her daughter, great-great-granddaughter of the poet.

Thus, not only Yesenin's children, the biography, photos of which are presented in this article, but also his more distant descendants are creative individuals.

The mystery of the death of the poet

And to this day the death of S. Yesenin remains an undisclosed mystery, enveloped in a multitude of incomprehensible facts. One of the researchers still believes that this was a banal suicide, while others insist on the version of the murder. And indeed, there are a lot of facts pointing to the second version. This is a mess in the hotel room, and the poet's torn clothing, and abrasions on his body ... But, anyway, Sergei Yesenin is a great Russian poet whose work was, is and will be the property of our people for many centuries.
