Teacher pedagogy: what is it?

Pedagogical activity is such a human profession in which the transmission of pedagogical, social, cultural experience is realized from generation to generation. The core of it is the interaction of the teacher and his students.

Pedagogical mastery is the highest level of pedagogical activity, it manifests itself in teacher's creativity and constant improvement of education, training, development of pupils.

A teacher-master can be called a teacher who is fully aware that he is responsible to society, achieves in his practice of high results, making the best use of professional tools. He is distinguished by an individual style of activity, thanks to which his creative potential is fully realized.

Pedagogical skill consists of:

1. The totality of the teacher's professional knowledge.

2. Pedagogical engineering.

3. The humanistic characteristics of the teacher's personality .

Pedagogical Excellence as a Professional Knowledge

As Makarenko said, the pupils can forgive their teacher a lot - both dryness, severity, and fault-finding, but they will never reconcile with his poor knowledge of the subject matter. The teacher-master should know the subject of his teaching in perfection, not only what is written in the textbooks and what he learned in his time at the university. He must constantly improve his skills, be aware of everything that can be of interest to students and what they can ask him.

Pedagogical mastery as a pedagogical technique

Pedagogical technology means the totality of those methods, skills and methods of teaching and educational work that are used to ensure that the goal of the activity was achieved most fully. In particular, here you can include pedagogical abilities, the ability to manage others and yourself, the ability to cooperate and establish contact.

Pedagogical mastery as a characteristic of personality

The humanistic characteristic is an integral element of pedagogical skill and is a focus on the personality of the student, the assertion in his worldview of spiritual values, moral forms of relationships and behavior. This is part of the ideology of the teacher.

In turn, the humanistic orientation is focused on:

1. Themselves - that the students see in the teacher a real, qualified, demanding person.

2. Means of influence (activities, training programs, ways of submitting material).

3. A pupil and his adaptation in a particular social group (for example, in a school class).

The humanistic strategy of the teacher is the achievement of the main goal of his activity, aimed at helping to develop a full-fledged, educated, literate personality (taking into account, of course, not only the needs of modern society, but also the personal needs of the pupil). Only with the presence of a sense of responsibility, awareness of one's goals and true love for children, can the formation of professional teaching skills.

The teacher-master has the ability, even in small cases, to see let not great, but big and important tasks. The humanistic focus of his work allows us to assess the work not only directly but also indirectly - the teacher must see and take into account those positive changes in the individuality of each of his students, which he managed to achieve as a competent, literate and talented organizer of the educational process.

Pedagogical mastery of the teacher is the peak that is achieved not at once and by far not all. Some spend years of their practice on this, while others remain mediocre teachers until the end of their career (if only because they simply do not aspire to anything more). It should be remembered that skill, unlike talent and gift, is not innate - to achieve it, it is necessary to work long and hard on yourself, on your teaching technique, without forgetting to constantly improve your knowledge of the subject, even if it is such a conservative , Like mathematics. If you can not find the words to challenge the student's point of view, but simply tell him that he is wrong, which one of you is a master?
