Stucco "Volma" - an excellent modern tool for leveling walls and ceilings

An excellent modern means for leveling ceilings and internal, external walls of premises are dry plaster mixes with admixture of gypsum constituents. Today, the plaster "Volma" is very popular among the builders. It is designed for manual work and is a powder with astringent properties and plaster filler. Additionally, mineral and chemical ingredients are added to the mixture, which provide temporary moisture retention in the mixture during the master's work and a high degree of strength and adhesion. Thanks to its ability to dry quickly, the "Volma" plaster allows to save the worker time.

Stucco "Volma" is produced in Russia at five plants: in Chelyabinsk, Voznesensk, in Volgograd (two divisions) and in the Republic of Tatarstan. Production facilities of the company "Volma" allow producing several types of plaster mixtures :

  • "Volma - Decor" - is used for decorative surface treatment;
  • "Volma-Plast" - is in demand as a basis before the finishing or finishing coating;
  • "Volma-Aqualayer MN" - is used to operate special equipment in rooms in high humidity;
  • "Volma-Layer" is a universal plaster for leveling surfaces by hand in normal conditions.

Stucco "Volma" is intended for leveling the internal planes of walls and ceilings in an automated and manual way with subsequent finishing with wallpaper, ceramic tile or painting. During the execution of the plastering work, it is necessary to take into account the temperature in the room. It should be no higher than thirty degrees and not less than five degrees Celsius. Only in such conditions the plaster will give a smooth and even surface.

It can be applied to a brick, concrete, gypsum board, aerated concrete base, as well as to gypsum blocks, chipboard panels, MDF, wood and Cement-lime coatings.

Gypsum plaster "Volma". Technical specifications:

  • Drying period - one week;
  • Setting time - maximum 3 hours;
  • The maximum limit of the applied layer is 60 mm (superimposed in two sets);
  • Recommended layer height - 30 mm;
  • Water consumption - 0,65 liters per 1 kg of dry mixture;
  • The cost of the mixture is 1 m 2 - 1 kg.

Preparing the surface before applying the plaster

Before plastering works, the plane must be thoroughly cleaned of oil stains, dirt, layers, dust. Then dry it. If there are potholes - they are subject to embedding, exfoliated places - strengthening, irregularities, salt deposits and fungi - to removal. The protruding metal elements are treated with an anticorrosive mixture. The result should be a rough and even surface. Then it is covered with a primer. After completely drying it, you can start plastering.
