From the very first moments, feelings broke out between them, which, as it seemed at the time, could not prevent anything.

The couple in love spent all their free time together, making plans for the future. But, unfortunately, dreams were not destined to come true. Soon the young man was forced to urgently leave the USSR, not even having time to say goodbye to his lover. And two years later a terrible war began ...

But fate again pushed young people. This happened in 1943, on the territory of Ukraine. But now, of course, Alexander and Catherine had to be on different sides of the barricade. They could not have thought that they would ever meet on the battlefield.

Once the Germans mined a large hydroelectric power station, which was located within the city of Dnepropetrovsk. On its demining, the Soviet government sent a group of experienced snipers, led by Katya. Arriving at the appointed place, the girl's detachment suddenly collided face to face with the enemy, which, ironically, was led by Alexander.
