Ipomea is a perennial or annual liana growing in the tropics and subtropics of North America, South Africa, India and Asia. Translated from the Greek language, the name of the plant means "like a worm," which may be due to the ability of its roots to dig deep into the search for moisture and nutrients. In nature, there are about 4000 species of this amazing flower, in the relationship with it is an ordinary convolvulus field, with which the summer residents struggle every year.
Ipomea is a perennial liana, but in our region it is cultivated as an annual plant. It suits well on heavy soils, but does not like sand. With the help of flowers decorate the verandas and balconies.
