The action of the animated series unfolds in a fictional universe, where some people are able to control one of the four natural elements (fire, air, water, earth). Directly in the center of the plot is a mage of air of 12 years and his friends.

The animated series was an incredible success and was nominated for a number of awards, among them: "Annie", "Emmy", Genesis Awards, etc.

Aang

Start talking better with the main character, although the list of characters ("Avatar: The Legend of Aang") is quite impressive. Aang is the last mage of air and a representative of the people of the Air nomads. His nation was destroyed 100 years ago by the Fire Nation. Aang is an Avatar-magician who is able to use all four elements of the elements and who must maintain peace among all nations. The people of Fire wanted to destroy the Avatar, so he attacked the air mages, among whom he was to be born. Fortunately, shortly before this Aang ran away from his mentors and accidentally froze in the ice of the iceberg, where he spent 100 years. All these years in the world did not stop the predatory war of the People of Fire, who wanted to subjugate all the lands around them.

Aang accidentally found in the ice of Qatar and Sokka, children from the tribe of water. After awakening, the young Avatar realized that he had to fulfill his duty to stop the war, but first he needed to master all kinds of magic. About how Aang was trained, and whether he was able to stop the Fire People and is told in the animated series.

Qatar

Qatar is one of the key heroines of the animated series "Avatar: The Legend of Aang" (the characters of which are discussed here). At the time the cartoon begins, the girl turns 14. She is from the Southern Water Tribe, the daughter of the leader of Hakoda. Qatar is the last water mage in the entire South Pole, the rest were taken and imprisoned by soldiers of the People of Fire. At the hands of the invaders, her mother also died, when Qatar was only 8 years old. Then the soldiers of the People of Fire found out that a water mage appeared in the Southern Tribe, and came after him. But the mother of Qatar defended her daughter, calling herself the last magician of water, for which she was killed.

Due to the fact that the war between the Water Tribe and the Fire People did not stop, the men of the tribe often went to war, and then the tribe's children, Qatar and her brother Sokka, answered for the well-being of the tribe.

During one of the walks of Qatar and Sokka found the ice sphere, which was concluded by Avatar Aang. This event dramatically changes the life of the brother and sister.

Sokka

Sokka is Qatar's older brother and one of Aang's companions, the main character of the animated television series Avatar: The Legend of Aang.

"How to draw characters?" - if you are asking this question, you first need to know about the character of the hero, and then start directly to the image. So, in order to draw Sokka, one must remember that he is a great joker and very often finds himself in silly situations, although he is endowed with a good tactical mind. Therefore, you can depict it for drawing up an attack plan.

So, Sokka is a warrior of the Southern Water Tribe. At the beginning of the animated series he lives with his younger sister Qatar and grandmother Kanna. When the leader of the tribe and father Sokki led the soldiers against the fiery invaders, he left his son for the elder. So Sokka was responsible not only for providing the tribe with food, but also for educating children in martial arts.

When Qatar and Sokka found Aang, Sokka did not immediately believe in the air mage. At first he was sure that this was the spy of the People of Fire.

Tof

List of characters animated series "Avatar: Legend of Aang" continues to Tof Beyfong. She is the only child of the noble family of the kingdom of the Earth. Tof was born blind, therefore she was always considered helpless, surrounded by attention and care. But the independent nature of the girl was prejudiced by such guardianship. Tof herself studied the magic of the earth, thanks to which she could see the world around her. Later, she began to secretly flee the house and participate in the battles of the magicians of the earth. In the arena, she wore the nickname "Blind Bandit". It was on these battles that Aang and his friends first saw her.

When Tof met Avatvr and decided to become his teacher, she fled the house. Beifongs sent for the daughter in pursuit of mages of land, who managed to catch her and lock her in a metal box where she could not use her strength. However, being trapped, Tof was able to subjugate the metal and free herself. So she became the world's first metal sorcerer.

Characters of the cartoon "Avatar: The Legend of Aang": Appa and Momo

Appa and Momo are the constant companions of the Avatar and his friends. They deserve a separate mention.

Appa is a flying bison and a guardian Aanga. When the air mage reaches the age of 6, he goes to the Eastern Temple of Air, where he finds a bison, which will become his companion and friend. So Appa became Aang's friend, and when Avatar was frozen, the bison was with him. Appa is not only a companion of Aang and his friends, but also the main means of transportation, as it is endowed with the magic of air and can fly.

Momo is a winged lemur, which Aang found in the Southern Temple of Air. From this time, Momo became an Avatar companion. He is the only lemur in the animated series, so there is an opinion that he is the last of his kind. Unlike Appa, who always understands human speech, Momo, when multipliers portray the world with his eyes, hears only an indistinct murmur. Because of this, he often falls into various woes. Nevertheless, the lemur is very loyal to Aang and is ready to help him even in battles.

Zuko

There are also ambiguous characters in the cartoon "Avatar: The Legend of Aang." Characters of the series are not all divided into positive and negative. So Zuko, the prince of the People of Fire, first acts as the enemy of the Avatar, and then joins him and becomes his master of the magic of Fire.

Zuko can easily be recognized by the scar surrounding the left eye, which remained after the burn. This boy received the mark after he refused to fight his father at the ritual duel of Angie Kai. After this event, Zuko was expelled by his father, Fire Lord Ozai, from the Land of Fire.

In order to restore his honor and return, Zuko decides to find the Avatar, which disappeared a hundred years ago. For the Crown Prince, this journey will change his whole life and lead to the fact that he will oppose his family, taking the side of Aang.

Iro

The screenwriters of the animated series "Avatar: The Legend of Aang" came seriously to the creation of heroes. The biography of characters, not even basic, is written very well. For example, Iro, Uncle Zuko and brother Ozai have a very interesting and even tragic past.

Initially, Iroh was the successor of the Boss of Fire by birthright. He had the only son of Lu Ten, who died quite young. A little later that event, Father Iroh died. And then Ozai ascended to the throne, as Iro refused to fight for the throne. In addition, Iro did not cope with his task as a general - take Ba Sing Se, the capital of the Kingdom of the Earth. Airo besieged the city when the news of the death of his son came, then the heir to the throne left his post.

Iroh is very different from his relatives. He is good-natured, not touching and very wise. When Zuko was expelled, Iro decided to accompany his nephew.

Azula

Now let's move on to the uniquely negative characters of the animated series Avatar: The Legend of Aang. Characters, which can be classified as negative, are headed by Azula, the younger sister of Zuko. She was the father's favorite since childhood, despite her cruelty. The girl is the best fire mage after her father, besides she is calculating, cold-blooded and intelligent. Its main goal has always been power.

Nevertheless, despite her strong qualities by the end of season 3, when she received her father's throne, she was seized with madness.

Tai Lee and May

Many interesting characters can be found by watching the series "Avatar: The Legend of Aang". The characters of Tai Li and Mei are the minions of Azula. They help the princess in her search for Avatra and in battles with him and his friends.

Tai Li - since childhood was a friend of Azula. She does not own magic, but has acrobatic abilities and combat techniques that can block the opponent's qi, thus depriving him of the ability to use magic.

May is also Azula's girlfriend and girl Zuko. The only child in the high-ranking official's family, May, has been used to restraining her emotions since childhood. She has a good command of throwing and cold steel.
