Papa kid was Rostislav Jankowski - a wonderful actor of theater and cinema. Uncle Igor was a wonderful and unforgettable Oleg Jankowski ("The same Muunghausen", "In Love at His Desire"), which for many years was, is and remains adored by millions of viewers as an actor.

Even in his childhood, parents noticed his son's artistic inclinations. They decided to support him in the future, if he decides to link his life with the cinema art. And it happened in a few years. Yankovsky Igor I did not want to lag behind my famous relatives. He followed in their footsteps.

In 1974, he received a diploma of the Shchukin Theater School. And then he joined the troupe of the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya. Under the canopy of these wings he served almost twenty years.

His film masterpieces

On the set, Igor Yankovsky, whose family supported any of his undertakings, came in the mid-seventies of the last century. For two decades, he was "under the gun" of the movie camera, playing a huge number of interesting and diverse roles. Each of his characters is a person. And it does not matter whether it's a positive hero or not. The main thing is that, embodying each of them, Yankovsky Igor gave them a piece of himself.

And the characters were really entertaining enough from the point of view of an ordinary spectator, and at the same time a professional critic. In an interview written shortly after leaving the big cinema, Igor Yankovsky, whose biography is not as widely known as his "star" relatives, shared with journalists that everything happened too spontaneously and unexpectedly for him. His friend bought a brokerage firm and provided an opportunity for Yankovsky to work on his own good in tandem with him. Igor Rostislavovich thought and agreed.

At first they traded in grain. After a while their joint business was not bad "went to the mountain". They came up with the idea of advertising.

For some time he tried to combine a new business with past creativity - theater and cinema. Unfortunately, he had to part with the art, because, as he himself very seriously declares, advertising should either be done seriously, or not at all.

Thanks to his close involvement in business, for the second decade, since 2004, Igor Yankovsky is co-founder and head of the Advertising Cartel Agency and president of the Association of Communication Agencies of Russia.

Sometimes he very sincerely regrets that the cinema was left for him in the distant past. But as you know, there are some exceptions in the rules. Therefore, in 2002, Igor Rostislavovich with great pleasure accepts an offer from his cousin Philip Jankowski to appear in his film called "In Motion." It was a wonderful time, a return to youth. True, after this film there were no new paintings in his biography. Not yet. So the admirers of Igor Yankovsky's talent should not lose hope to see his new work in the cinema.

This is it, Igor Yankovsky. His personal life does not go beyond the family clan. Known only one not very pleasant fact. Several years ago his son Denis was detained by law enforcement officers when he sold two bags of drugs.
