Comedy sitcoms have long been a part of American television. The series was often criticized, despite the success that creators and actors felt. "Happy End" because of its similarity with many other series was subjected to a rigid comparison with the sitcoms "Ideal Couples", "Mad Love", "Traffic Light", "Sex on Friendship." All of them were launched in the 2010-2011 season, and after the first two were successfully closed. This indicated that the theme of married couples or friendships did not interest viewers, moreover, the audience was satiated with them. The comparison touched on "Friends." This was the first in the history of the sitcom about six friends, residents of New York, who managed to survive for ten years, and there is hardly a similar project that will be able to surpass it.

But nevertheless, if we did not take the pilot episodes that only rocked the series, "Happy End" was warmly received in the middle of its path. Many noted a significant improvement, which led, however, to the impasse of the plot development.

The first one the creators sought was Brad William, a henpecked husband who did not refuse his wife Jane. Here, Damon Wayans Jr., familiar to spectators on the film "Cops in deep stock", was perfect. After the "Happy End" he joined the series "Novelty", and also appeared in a number of checkpoints. His last roles are an atypical cop from the "Type of Copa" and a voice in the "City of Heroes."

The lonely and desperate Penny Harz went to actress Casey Wilson, familiar to the "Killers" and "Bride Wars". In 2014, she played in the Oscar-winning thriller of David Fincher's "The Disappeared."

To play the role of neighbor and student friend Max Bloom was invited by Adam Palli, who successfully alternates appearances in films and on television, and the key image annoyed by her constant monitoring of Jane was given to Eliza Kup.
