The skin is then removed from the carcass in the direction of the head so that the fur is inside. The front paws are released by making a cut at the wrist joint, and they stay together with the skin. Then smoothly tighten the skin to the head, remove the ears from the roots and remove the skin from the head. In this case, the skin around the eyes and muzzle should be cut.
  2. English way. In this case, the killed animal is not suspended. The skin is cut on the abdomen, a longitudinal incision is made from the perineum to the throat. Then gently the skin is separated from the carcass, until the back is released. Then the skin of the hind limbs is removed by stretching, the hind legs are cut off and as a result, the skin with the hair covering is removed from the back. From the front paws, the skin is removed to the feet, and the limbs are then simply cut off. And in the end, the skin is removed from the head.
  3. The American way. The carcass of a rabbit is hung on the hook by the right hind leg. The rest of the limbs are cut off along with the head and tail. Under the foot that remains, a circular incision is made. Further, an incision is made from the hock joint through the crotch to the site of the cut of the other foot. After that, the skin is removed from the hips with one hand movement to the place of the forelimbs. The last stage - gently with fingers free skin with hair from the forelegs and neck.

Separate ready-made skin must be cleaned from subcutaneous fat and films. Then it is suspended on a rope or wire and dried in a draft.

Correct treatment of the animal

1. Cutting the rabbit begins with a small incision in the abdominal region near the pelvic bone.
