Exercise for attention for children and adults

Concentration of attention is the ability to focus on one particular subject or matter. At first it seems that it is quite simple, however, after making at least one exercise for attention, you can see the opposite. For example, try not to close your eyes to count to 50 and think only about the account. It seems that it's so simple ... But in reality everything turns out to be completely different. Thoughts start to get confused, and the person, though he continues to believe, has long thought about something else. Only a few are able to concentrate on one subject or business and not be distracted. How to develop this skill?

The most simple exercise for attention

First of all, it is not superfluous to find out whether you are really a scattered person. Let's do this exercise for attention: try to remember yesterday in details. It is important to note the smallest moments of the day: with what mood you woke up, who called or came in the morning, and what you were talking about, what thoughts you visited all day. If you remember all these little things will not be difficult for you - you have an excellent memory and good concentration

Often people find it difficult to remember all the details of the day, because our attention is not focused on them. A young mother makes herself a morning coffee, but thinks absolutely not about it. Her thoughts are occupied with many things: what to cook for breakfast, in which store to make purchases, than to surprise the husband in the evening.

One of the simplest exercises is an exercise on attention during the day. Try not to be distracted from what you are directly engaged in. That is, if you make coffee, think only of it. Such trifles will teach you to focus your attention on specific things.

Exercises "Kinolenta" and "Relaxation"

After you learn to concentrate on what you are doing at a certain time, it is not superfluous to learn how to perform the tasks of "Filmstrip" and "Relaxation". These are very effective concentration exercises.

The essence of the first is to remember how you spent the day. In the evening, take a comfortable position and reflect on your pastime. If you have been concentrating on details during the day and only thought about what you were doing at a particular time, this exercise will be easy for you.

Then you can proceed to the second task.

Begin to mentally relax all parts of the body, from the feet to the head. Imagine that every cell of your body is not tense. Switch attention to the right foot of the foot. Feel it, and then imagine how it relaxes. So it should be done with all parts of the body. In addition, these exercises for memory and attention to adults help to improve concentration, they also perfectly relax the whole body.

Group exercises

You can train your attention either alone or in a group. In the team, this is even easier and more interesting. Thus, the exercises turn into an exciting game. Offer to play it to your family - and a great pastime is guaranteed. Such games are well suited for development of attention among schoolchildren. Exercises in a game form will teach them to be more collected. You can invite your children to visit and friends, then classes will become even more fascinating.

Collective exercise "Bee"

A group of people imagines a playing field in the form of 9 cells and with a bee in the middle. During the game, each participant mentally moves the insect to one square of the field (right, left, up or down) and speaks out loud where he moves it.

Control the movement of the bee to each participant mentally, this makes the task difficult. The one who has the bee goes out of the field, is lost, and then the game begins again. In other words, each participant should mentally draw 9 game cells in front of him and carefully listen to where the insect is moving.

Exercises on the account

Such exercises on attention for children and adults are very effective. They can be complicated or simplified depending on the age of the child and his attentiveness. For example, the task for a group of people: count from 1 to 100, and each voice only one number in order. Instead of numbers that are multiples of 5, it is necessary to say: "I am attentive." For example: 1, 2, 3, 4, I'm attentive, 6, 7, 8, 9, I'm attentive, and so on.

Exercise for color difference

Very interesting and effective task. It is necessary to name the color of each word. It is rather difficult to do this because it's not just words, but the names of colors. The brain perceives in the first place the text, and then only the color. You need a certain skill to correctly perform the exercise. Such exercises for concentration of attention give good results.

The game "Find Differences"

This game is familiar to all of us since childhood. It's not for nothing that children are often offered to find differences in drawings, and they like to do it. These are excellent exercises for the development of memory and attention. Adults are also very helpful to look for differences in the drawings. The main bias in these games is the development of memory. After looking at one picture, the child tries to remember all the small details and find them on the other, thus comparing the images.

Reading and memory

In order to learn concentration, you should love reading. Often, without noticing that, people quickly look at the text and do not catch half of its meaning. Surely, many noticed for themselves that, after reading some article, they begin to view it again. This is because the concentration of attention is very low, and at this time the thoughts of the person are absolutely in another area.

Reading any text, try to think about every word. In order to fully understand what has been written, it is necessary to make certain pauses after the paragraphs and to comprehend what was read above. If you follow all the instructions, you will not need to review the same text several times.

Tasks and exercises to develop attention in children

Children tend to be very distracted, especially schoolchildren. They forget everything in the world: what did the mother say in the morning, where their clothes lay, what kind of exercises the teacher asked home and similar things. It's not always done by the kids specially. Many really suffer from forgetfulness.

The school changes the child very much, it has many responsibilities, as well as many new and interesting things. In this turmoil it is very difficult to follow the course of your thoughts, and the little creature is lost. It is important to monitor how the development of attention is passing among schoolchildren. Exercises can help teach him to be more collected and serious.

For example, exercises with drawings. It is necessary to take 4 cards, which depict various objects (for example: a table, a chair, a bed, a cup). Give the child to look at them for half a minute and then clean. Ask him to paint on the sheet of paper all the items in order. Based on the results of this assignment, you can determine how good the memory is in a child. If he painted all 4 subjects correctly and in the same sequence - this is an excellent result. If 3-4 pictures are depicted, but scatter - it's not bad. If the student could not draw even 3 subjects, then he is very scattered.

If the child is very good at this task, it can be complicated - for example, you can add more cards to the job. There is one more, more complicated version of this task. Instead of images with objects, you need to use abstract drawings. Such a task will be more difficult, since painting something that the child has never seen before is much more difficult.

And here's another very interesting exercise for children's attention. For example, any text is taken and the child is offered to read it for a minute and cross out 3 letters: "a", "p" and "n". Counting the number of missed letters, which should be deleted and the number of words in the text, which he had time to work through, the degree of attention of the child is estimated. Results can be recorded and compared each time.

There are also special arbitrary sets of letters in which it is necessary to cross out certain symbols. After the work done, the remaining ones will be able to read a statement or a rhyme.

Concentration of attention in everyday life

In everyday life it is very easy to train memory. You just need to pay attention to small details and everyday situations. Start to notice new details in the things that are familiar to you, and it will be an excellent training of attention. Exercises, of course, also give their effect, but they need to spend at least 10 minutes a day.

For example, when you go to a store that you often visit, pay attention to the different details along the way: what road do you have under your feet, what trees grow, how many shops are nearby, what houses are near the road. When you come home, try to remember all these subjects. Close your eyes and mentally go to the store again. You can not immediately remember all the details, but in time this will get better and better each time.

Why train memory and attention?

In our life, many things are associated with concentration of attention. We do all the things "on the machine" and then hardly remember many of the nuances. Surely you ran out of the house at least once in a hurry and wondered if you turned off the iron, closed the front doors, and did not forget anything. This is because at a time when a person, for example, turns off the iron from the outlet, he thinks absolutely about other things. He does not concentrate on the iron and then, accordingly, can not remember if he did this action.

A good memory and attention will be useful in the workplace. During hard work people often forget about something and lose something. Due to absent-mindedness, you can lose your job altogether. Practically in any business, peace and fresh mind are important. For good memory, we develop attention, concentration exercises improve focus on a certain action.

Before an important meeting or report, try breathing exercises. Start to breathe deeply, focus on breathing. Feel the air getting into the lungs. Try not to think about anything else. On exhalation count up to 5 and again take a deep breath. This exercise can be done for 5-10 minutes. It will help a little to cheer up and put in order thoughts. For the brain it will be an excellent rest.

There are situations where increased concentration of attention can save lives and protect you from accident. For example, the driver behind the wheel should be very attentive, otherwise an accident may occur. An attentive passer-by can also avoid a collision if the oncoming transport is noticed in time. So it turns out that in any situation you need to be attentive and focused.
