Chicken, stewed in sour cream is a very simple dish that does not require any special skills, and the time is minimal. And since it is also very tasty, it is simply a pleasure to cook it. This dish may well become your crown.

The cooking time of the stewed chicken must be prepared chicken carcass: rinse and cut into portions, add them to a frying pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper. You can add to the chicken meat dried basil or other seasonings to taste. Then put the frying pan on the hot plate.

Cook the chicken until the skin is browned. While the chicken is fried, it is necessary to prepare the sour cream sauce and cut the onion into half rings. For 1.5 kg of chicken take about 200 ml of sour cream. She is bred with water one to one, salt. There also add crushed garlic, 2-3 cloves, and 2 tablespoons of flour. Flour makes the sour cream sauce more dense.

When the chicken is almost ready, the chopped onion is first poured into it, and when it is fried, the chicken is poured with a sauce and covered with a lid. When the chicken is ready, the fire under the frying pan is removed. Before serving, the chicken, stewed in sour cream, should stick a little under the lid.

You can put out the chicken without preliminary frying. In this case, the chicken, stewed in sour cream, will bring a minimum of hassle to the hostess. It is prepared quickly and simply: chopped chicken rubbed with salt and seasonings, put in a deep baking tray and pour it sour cream, diluted with water. Then the chicken form is put in the oven and left there to stew on a low heat for about 1 hour.

There is a more troublesome way of cooking stew in chicken sour cream. It is first fried in a frying pan, and then put into a pot, poured hot water and put to stew for 40 minutes.

Then proceed to prepare the sauce. First in a frying pan toast a teaspoon of flour in vegetable oil, without forgetting to stir constantly, this will be the basis for the sauce. It is transferred to a small saucepan or ladle, add sour cream (3 tablespoons) and yolk. All ingredients are mixed, add salt and a little citric acid.

Ready chicken pour sauce and bring to a boil, after which the cast iron is removed from the fire and leave the chicken to brew.

You can also choke the chicken with mushrooms. It fits perfectly, for example, with champignons. One chicken weighing about 1.5 kg needs 300 g of mushrooms and the same amount of sour cream. Chicken is again cut and fried in vegetable oil. While the chicken is being fried, it is necessary to cut the mushrooms with plates and pour them out to the chicken. At the same time, various seasonings are added to the pan, including salt and pepper. All this is covered with a lid and fried for about 20 minutes. After that, spread the sour cream in the pan, mix everything, cover it again and leave it on the stove for another half an hour. Chicken with mushrooms in sour cream is ready.

In the previous recipe, fresh champignons are used, but you can put out chicken and canned mushrooms. In this version, it is customary to use finely chopped chicken fillet, about 400 g. It is cut into small cubes. Also in advance it is necessary to cut a half bulb with one bulb. Preserved champignons must already be cut, well, or cut them yourself. The liquid from them is poured into a separate bowl. It is useful for sauce.

Prepare this dish in a saucepan. At its bottom put butter, spread onions and mushrooms, mix and fry for about 10 minutes. Then the same sauce is laid out from 200 g of sour cream, liquid from canned mushrooms and one tablespoon of flour. Stir all the products, close the lid and leave to stew for 40 minutes. Chicken, stewed in sour cream with mushrooms according to this recipe, turns out very tender.

Chicken, fried in sour cream - it's even easier than a stewed version of the dish. All the same chicken is cut and fried in vegetable oil, and five minutes before the readiness is added sour cream.
