Victims of fashion. Clothes by age. How to be stylish and fashionable?

Beauty is a concept, as is known, relative. After all, for everyone, this means something of their own: someone wants to be different from what nature has given, and someone strictly follows fashion, sometimes reaching extremes. In this article I want to talk about who are the victims of fashion and what to do in order not to join such a category of people.

A bit of history

As already mentioned above, beauty for everyone has its own. And in each era the canons of it were somewhat different. Moreover, they varied even according to the place of residence of people. It is interesting that this concept arose in the XVIII century. Then the "victims of fashion" called the girls who in severe frosts ran out into the street in chiffon dresses, in order to just show off. "Why the victims?" - a logical question may arise. And all because often after that, these beauties picked up pneumonia, which at that time was still an incurable disease.

Now it's worth digging a little into history. As for Europe, in the Middle Ages the woman had to be skinny and exhausted to seem beautiful (asceticism is the main rule of the Catholic church of those times). In the Renaissance, those who were not afraid of undressing (the cult of the body) and had magnificent forms were those. A little later, a beautiful lady should have a pale, thin face - this is what distinguished noble and rich women from commoners. However, summing up a small result, I want to say that almost all this is unnatural, harmful to health. The women who followed such a fashion can be called its victims.

The historical victims of fashion are also the ladies-representatives of African tribes who deliberately stretched their necks, putting a ring on them behind the ring (the rings could be removed, and then the neck broke, sometimes the husbands punished their wives for certain faults). In many tribes and nationalities, it was customary to deform the skulls of babies so that they would acquire the necessary forms (this was easy to do, because the children of the bones are very mobile and deformable). In history there are people with extended heads - acrocephalus, triangle-shaped skulls - trigoncephalus, etc. Another victims of fashion in history are Chinese women who for a long time deformed their feet to appear more attractive and valuable in the bride market. Such legs were called "lotus", and the less they were, the better. However, the very process of deformation and achieving such a dubious beauty was very painful, in great pain.

Modernity

Today, there are also girls who are victims of fashion, although modern deformities are associated not only with changes in one's own body, but also simply with the style of clothing. Why is this happening? It's simple. Fashion for its purpose is not created for all people who walk the earth. So, many outfits and dresses that participate in high shows, in fact are not only uncomfortable in sock, but also not very beautiful. But now, after watching the next release of fashion shows, the girl decides: I'll look fashionable if I put on this outfit. And runs to the seamstress. This is a huge mistake, because that's exactly how fashion victims appear, which are an excellent example of how to do it (it will look absolutely different on a tall, thin model, rather than on a low fat one).

This same, for example, can apply to cosmetics. A bright make-up for a photo shoot is an excellent way out. But if a girl makes up her eyes with yellow shadows, she will pick up a pink lipstick and go to the street, it will look at least strange, and, of course, ugly.

Body

Often the victims of fashion try to change through plastic surgery, strictly following the canons of beauty. Big breasts, big lips, big eyes - all this is very relevant now. But only in the event that all this was given by nature. But sometimes, in pursuit of beauty, the lady does not understand that in this way she not only deforms herself, but also ruins her own health. How can I not remember how topical and fashionable now to be skinny! In this quest, ladies often go too far, bringing themselves to a semi-living state and acquiring a disease such as anorexia. Coping with the latter, by the way, is not so easy.

An eccentric or a fashion victim?

However, not all people can be called victims of fashion. It should be said that if a person has his own style and constantly adheres to it, it can be called extravagance, eccentricity (however this applies more to people of show business than ordinary citizens). It should also be said that there is a style of "victim of fashion", which can perfectly emphasize the personality. To such people it is possible to carry a newsmaker Sergey Zverev, whose outfits sometimes simply amaze, but completely create his own stellar style. The same can be said about Lyudmila Gurchenko, who in the pursuit of youth sometimes simply overdid with the dresses that make her younger, but in this way she created her own special style of clothes.

Clothing by age

What else could be so disfiguring a woman that she could be ranked in the list of "Victims of Fashion"? The photos show that for this it is enough to even wear outfits not by age. And if a girl wants to look older, she will wear more strict and classic clothes - that's nothing. But when a lady of Balzac's age wears a red skirt-pleating and a topic that ends immediately under a lush breast - it's just plain ugly. The same can be said about the ladies who imagined themselves Barbie, even regardless of age. Such representatives of the fair sex can hardly be called beautiful and, most likely, they can be attributed to the victims of fashion.

About Psychology

Why sometimes girls are so zealous that they become fashion victims? Psychologists say that the main problem of such ladies is insecurity, dissatisfaction with one's own appearance. This they are trying to compensate with the help of clothing or various other aids.

How to look fashionable and stylish?

Are there specific tips on how to avoid being called "the victim of fashion"? Of course. So, there are three main rules, following which, the girl will never join the ranks of dubious beauties. The first of them: do not follow the advice from fashion magazines. All because a certain outfit does not fit all types of figures. Having no experience of choosing the right outfits, you can fly well and become at least ugly.

The second rule: when entering a trendy boutique, you do not need to rush into promotional or discount items, just to buy clothes "from Dior". Most often on sales are exhibited collections of past years or what is currently becoming irrelevant.

Well, the last rule is the most important: do not be afraid of bold experiments. Only in the search for yourself and your style can you find what you want, and what you like. And, of course, it is worth remembering that not everything decorates a woman, which is offered by fashionable couturiers at shows.

Film

And those who are interested in fashion designers, you can see the film "Gianni Versace: the victim of fashion." However, here it goes, unfortunately, not about the path to fame of all the famous couturier, but about his murder. Why it happened, who is to blame for this and why today the crime becomes one of the ways to become famous - that's what the staff of this film will tell about it.
