Beretta's pistol: advantages and disadvantages

To date, the Beretta pistol is considered one of the most popular and recognizable types of firearms in the United States of America. At the time, the standard pistol in the American army was the Colt M9 of the 45th caliber, but only until it was replaced by Beretta 92 in 1985. Naturally, such weapons have their own advantages and disadvantages, but, nevertheless, and to this day remains the most popular and often used.

Beretta's pistol: some historical facts

Beretta pistols were designed by the real masters of firearms - the creators are Giuseppe and Carlo Beretta, as well as Vittorio Valle. The first model appeared in 1972. In the future, different models were developed, but the most popular was Beretta 92, which was presented by the Italian company in 1976.

It's no secret that during the twentieth century, American soldiers and policemen used Colt 45 caliber as a service weapon . This revolver gained fame even during World War II. It was also used during military operations in Vietnam and Korea.

But in the 1970s, NATO countries created new standards - the now-approved, universal cartridge was Parabellum 9 mm. Therefore, in the US, they began to actively design weapons that would be as close to this type of ammunition as possible. And although this, a kind of competition, involved many models from different weapons manufacturers, the most optimal option was the Beretta 92 pistol.

Today, more than ninety modifications of this weapon are produced. Beretta's pistol is used to arm the armies and special forces in many countries. In addition, some models are popular among civilians.

Beretta's pistol: advantages and disadvantages

Of course, such weapons have a lot of advantages, which, in fact, make it so popular. First of all, it should be noted that the design of this gun is very convenient. There are flags of the fuse on both sides, as well as a large release box. This form allows you to hold arms in both the right and left hand. By the way, Beretta is the most convenient for the so-called "shooting in Macedonian", when in each hand it is necessary to hold a pistol. And, of course, this weapon provides high accuracy of fire.

As for the shortcomings, there are not so many of them. One can only say that relatively large dimensions make it difficult to conceal the carrying of weapons. In addition, a thick handle is hardly suitable for a person with short fingers. And because of the high rate of shooting, the trunk is far from being short-lived.

Beretta's pistol: traumatic or pneumatic

As already mentioned, this weapon model is also popular among the civilian population. Therefore, many potential buyers are interested in whether any documents and permits are required.

Beretta's pneumatic pistol is a sporting and training weapon. They can be owned by persons who have reached the age of 18. It is not intended for self-defense and does not require any special documents. However, permission is required if the caliber is more than 4. 5 mm.

Berutt's traumatic pistol requires a special license. In order to have the right to carry these weapons, you need to pass a medical examination and wait for an official permit.
