The first few months after the birth of a child - this is a very difficult period in the life of a young mother: you have to get used to the baby, do not sleep at night, the body at this time is exhausted by pregnancy and childbirth. And even such simple pleasure, as tasty food, it is inaccessible - after all breastfeeding imposes a serious taboo on many products.
In general, the opinions of doctors differ as to whether you need to restrict yourself at this time. Some believe that mom should cut back on her diet and eat the most useful and non-allergenic foods. Others - on the contrary, offer early to enter into their menu a variety of dishes to accustom them to the baby. A third consider the choice of diet - a purely individual matter, depending on the specific organism of the mother and child. But if the products that are clearly considered to be allergens - strawberries, raspberries, chocolate - do not cause questions (moms know that they definitely should not be eaten immediately after birth), then what about normal, ordinary food? For example, many are interested in whether or not the nursing mother can have eggs.
This question is far from idle. Eggs are traditionally considered an excellent source of animal protein for any organism. And for supporters of vegetarianism, this product is often the main product. Eggs are easily digested and do not contain a large number of calories. Many diets, for example, offer after physical training to restore the strength of chicken protein. So, in the case of an adult healthy organism, the use of this product is fully justified. But is it possible to breastfeed my mother eggs? After all, her body is weakened, and nutrition has the most direct impact on the child.
In the future, this ban can be slightly weakened. The main allergen is protein. The yolk is absolutely harmless to the body, therefore in a month or one and a half it is already possible to give boiled eggs to the nursing mother - but only the yellow part of them. But in its raw form it is better not to use this product at all, or to reduce its use to a minimum, and this applies even to roasting, in order to avoid the risk of infection with salmonella. This applies to chicken eggs. Duck and goose go and remain under the ban - with their use, the risk of picking up salmonella is even higher.
