A cake of batter with canned food will serve as an excellent hot appetizer for a simple dinner or celebratory table. You can prepare such a product in different ways. We will consider the simplest and quickest recipes.

We make a cake with canned and potato from a batter

Very few people know, but the pie, for the preparation of which the liquid dough is used, turns out to be much softer and more tender than what is done with the usual base. That is why such a product is very popular with most housewives.

So, to make a cake with canned and potato from a batter, we need the following ingredients:

  • Mayonnaise of high fat content - 2 full large spoons;
  • Sour cream is thick - 185 g;
  • Eggs fresh chicken - 3 pcs .;
  • Soda, doused with table vinegar - tea spoon;
  • Saury canned (in oil) - 1 standard jar;
  • Flour sifted, light - 6 large spoons;
  • Sunflower oil - 20 ml (for lubricating the mold and frying vegetables);
  • Potatoes - 2-3 large tubers (for filling);
  • Onion bulbs - 3 large heads (for filling);
  • Carrot large - 1 pc. (For filling);
  • Salt, pepper fragrant - apply at your discretion.

Making the batter

Before baking a cake of batter with canned food, you should knead a homogeneous base. To do this, chicken eggs are whipped with a whisk, and then alternately they are added to them high-fat mayonnaise, slaked table bicarbonate and thick sour cream. Finally, the sifted flour is added to the egg base and mixed thoroughly. At the output, a homogeneous liquid mass is obtained, which is immediately used for the intended purpose.

Preparation of the filling

Cake from canned fish with a liquid dough turns out to be especially tasty, if in addition to saury in the filling add potatoes and fried vegetables. But before using them, the products should be properly processed.

Potato tubers are peeled and then cut into thin slices. Onions are freed from the husk and cut into small cubes. As for carrots, it is simply rubbed on a large grater.

After the described actions begin to roast some of the ingredients. Bulbs and carrots are spread in a frying pan, add sunflower oil to them and put on a stove. Regularly stirring, the ingredients are fried until they are browned. In the end, the products are salted and peppered to taste.

With regard to canned saury, it is taken out of the jar and crushed with a fork.

Product formation process

The cake from a batter with canned food is formed in only 10-12 minutes. To do this, use a conventional frying pan or other heat resistant mold, pre-lubricated with oil. It is poured ½ part of the base, and then evenly covered with potato slices. Sprinkle the vegetable with a small amount of salt, spread the gruel from the canned fish, and then the scrambled onions and carrots.

At the very end, the saury pie is poured into the second part of the batter.

How should I bake in the oven?

So, we need such products:

  • Saury canned (in oil) - 1 standard jar;

  • Sunflower oil - 20 ml (for lubricating the mold and frying vegetables);
  • Rice is long - 2/3 cups (for filling);
  • Onion bulbs - 3 large heads (for filling);
  • Carrot large - 1 pc. (For filling);
  • Salt, pepper fragrant - to taste.

We make dough and stuffing

The basis for such a pie is done exactly as was presented above. Therefore, we will not describe this process.

As for the filling, it should be separately rescued onion and carrots, and then boil the rice croup and combine the two components together, salt them and pepper.

Form the cake, bake it in the oven and serve it to the table

After the dough is mixed, and the filling is prepared, you should start to form the cake. To do this, a half-base is used in the oiled form and then covered with a mixture of rice cereal and roasted vegetables. After that, fish croissant is placed on the croup. In the end, all the ingredients are poured into a batter and sent to a preheated oven.

A cake of batter with canned bake at a temperature of 200 degrees for 60 minutes. After that, the product is taken out and slightly cooled in the mold. At the end, the cake is cut into portions and presented to family members along with a cup of sweet tea.
