Than to stuff a pita bread, a stuffing for a pita bread, lavash rolls

In our time, the hostess no longer cooks a vinaigrette on a festive table, does not fry croutons and makes sandwiches with sausage for a picnic. Everything is much simpler. Salads are served magnificently decorated, portioned or in small bowls, designed for one person.

Excellent help, especially at picnics, various snacks, such as lavash rolls. While the shish kebab is prepared, yes the potato will be baked, you want to have a snack delicious, and not only greens, cucumbers and tomatoes.

In my home collection there were a few dozen different stuffings for lavash stuffing. I will tell you about some of them:

1. Lavash with yoghurt, chicken and bell pepper.

Ingredients than stuffing lavash:

Lavash - 2 leaves

Yoghurt - 2 table. Spoons

Garlic - a pair of lobules

Salt - a pinch

Onions - 2 pcs.

Bulgarian pepper - 2 pcs.

Chicken fillet - 1 pc.

Cheese hard - 120 gr

A thin sheet of pita bread is spread on a table or on a board, using a silicone spatula or a brush, spread over the whole surface unsweetened yogurt or kefir, whipped with garlic and adding salt. Put the browned onions with the Bulgarian pepper. Cover with lavash leaf, also grease with yogurt, lay out pieces of boiled chicken, generously sprinkle with grated cheese.

Roll lavash roll into a tube, trying to tighten more tightly. Finished rolls put on a dish and crushed by a board, on which to set the yoke.

Leave in the refrigerator for a period of 30 minutes to several hours for impregnation and interaction of the ingredients.

Before serving cut rolls obliquely.

2. Pita bread with cream cheese and chicken.


100 gr of cream cheese


200 gr of hard cheese

200 g of fresh vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers ...)


Lavash sheet grease any cream cheese, such as amber, viola, president. At will, squash a couple of cloves of garlic into it. Above layers: grated cheese, mushrooms, pita bread, mayonnaise, grated cheese, chicken, grated cheese, vegetables (cucumbers, tomatoes, pepper - what to eat), lots of greens.

Roll the roll, put in the oven for 10 minutes, leave under the yoke for 20 minutes. Done!

3. Pita bread with mayonnaise, mushrooms and chicken.


2 thin lavash

2 tbsp. Spoons of mayonnaise

3 cloves of garlic

A bunch of greenery (cilantro, parsley, dill, basil)

180 gr of hard cheese

300 gr champignons

200 grams of chicken meat

Expand the pita bread sheet, distribute a tablespoon of mayonnaise with several slices of garlic, sprinkle with greens, a little grated cheese, fried mushrooms with onions, again cheese, another sheet of pita bread, greased with mayonnaise, a layer of boiled chicken meat, grated cheese.

Now all this miracle is turned into a roll, put under pressure and surprise the guests!

Many beginners cooks for the first time use thin Armenian lavash and do not understand how to work with it. The finest cake dries very quickly, after which it breaks. If, suddenly, this happens, do not despair, sprinkle from the usual spray squeegee for ironing in a plastic bag and leave in it dry lavash for a quarter of an hour. After a minute the cake will be ready. Also, Armenian bread can be successfully stored in dried form, only in a dry room. Successfully stored lavash and in the freezer.
