How to return the language bar

Many users often encounter a problem when the icon for switching the keyboard layout disappears from the tray. In the case of inexperienced users, they have the problem of changing the keyboard language. If the language bar disappears on your computer , you should not panic. It will be enough for you only to perform some actions to restore it. Press the right button of your manipulator, after hovering the cursor on the taskbar. When the context menu opens , select "Toolbar". If you have Windows Vista or "Seven", then it will be called "Panels". Now check to see if the check box on the "Language bar" is checked.

After that you should see it in the tray. If the checkbox is available, but the language bar is not displayed, click "Start" in the "Type", go to "Control Panel" where you select "Languages and Regional Standards", then click "More Details". When the window opens, go to the "Advanced" tab. There, in the additional section "System Configuration", uncheck "Disable additional services". Now we pay attention to our tray, where the cherished icon will already be exactly.

If you have Windows 7 installed on your computer , then the language bar will return slightly differently. "Start", after it - "Control Panel" and, finally, "Languages and Regional Standards". Before you should open a window in which you need to select "Languages and Keyboards", and then "Change the keyboard". Next, go to the Language Bar tab. Now, in the section that appears, install "Fixed on the taskbar", after which you must mark "Display of text labels". All in your tray is the icon you need.

Now consider how to restore the language bar by fixing the registry. First, consider the option for Windows 7. As always, start with "Start", where in the line "Start Search" type "regedit". Now you select the eponymous file with the right button of your manipulator. When the context menu appears, you select "run as administrator". Now you need to find the "HKEY CURRENT USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Current_Version \ Run" section in the Registry Editor. Choose "Edit", after it "Create", after it "String parameter". Now you need to name the newly created REG_SZ parameter ctfmon.exe, and also specify C: \> windows \ System32 \ ctfmon.exe. If the operating system was installed on another computer on your computer, then replace "C" with the corresponding one. Now you need to close the Registry Editor, and then restart the computer. This is done so that the changes you make are effective.

It is responsible for switching the keyboard layout CTF-loader, which is located in the directory "System32", located in the folder "Windows". If the language bar is not in the tray, you can switch the keyboard layout with the Alt-Shift or Contrast + Shift keys.

It is worth noting that you should work with the registry very carefully, because if you do something wrong, you can frustrate the operation of the operating system, which inevitably leads to the need to reinstall it, as well as to the loss of all your data.
