From all the huge selection of all kinds of snacks we want to draw your attention to the salad "Grenadier". He stands apart from many others like himself. Why is that? It does not contain either onions or garlic, and the combination of beets and prunes makes it a real magical dish. The composition of the ingredients for it is very limited, but an impressive combination of flavors is obtained, thanks to which this salad takes its place of honor on any festive table. Let's do it.

The main recipe for making salad "Grenadier"

Given that the ingredients of this dish are available to every hostess at home, it can be cooked, if desired, daily. Such a multi-layered tasty and satisfying salad with meat can always complement your menu. Though for lunch or dinner or a holiday. Especially he will like prunes lovers. To prepare a salad "Grenadier", you will need: potatoes - three pieces, carrots - one, large, beet - one, pork - 150 grams, prunes - 100 grams, mayonnaise - 150 grams, walnuts and greens - for decoration. All vegetables until cooked, in the peel, boil. And beets are separate from others, so as not to color them. Also cook a piece of meat, entirely. In our recipe we will use pork, but you can have chicken and beef. It does not matter much, it's a matter of taste. Cooled ingredients are cleaned (vegetables) and cut into cubes of small size. Then lay out layers, lubricating each of them with mayonnaise. The sequence of layers is the following: potatoes, carrots, then - boiled meat, beets and finishing - prunes. We use greens and walnuts as a decoration. Before serving the Grenadier salad on the table, it is recommended to hold it slightly in the cold, but not in the refrigerator. In it, the mayonnaise will turn red, and the dish will lose the beauty of its appearance.

Recipe for salad with beef

We will replace in our version the pork for beef and slightly change the amount of other ingredients. List of necessary products: 100 grams - beef and prunes, two - beets and carrots, three potatoes, 150 grams of mayonnaise homemade, for decoration - walnuts and greens. And now - a salad "Grenadier", a recipe for cooking. Vegetables boil until soft and let cool. After that, clean and cut into small cubes. The same is done with meat. Dried fruits are steamed with boiling water, without forgetting before that to extract from them bones. Pruned prunes and beef are cut into strips. Layers are assembled in the same order as in the previous recipe. To improve the taste, we recommend using homemade mayonnaise. Leave for one and a half to two hours to impregnate, then you can serve on the table.

Grenadier salad with pork tongue, egg and pineapple

This recipe is often prepared in public places. Having tried it there, many housewives mastered it and at home, especially since nothing complicated in this. We need: the pig's tongue is one, the eggs are chicken - four pieces, fresh cucumbers - three small pieces, hard cheese - 200 grams, a third of pineapple, mayonnaise, parsley, dill and salt. The cooking process is long. The reason - the need to cook a language for at least an hour and a half. Well, throw it in salted boiling water and cook. In the meantime, we will prepare the rest of the ingredients. Cut off the third part of pineapple, remove the peel, hard core and cut into cubes. We put it in a salad bowl, on the bottom. Boil the eggs. In separate dishes we rub, on a large grater, cucumbers and cheese, then we clean into the refrigerator.

The final stage is the completion of our salad

We take the finished tongue with a fork and send it under a stream of cold water. Then we clean and cut into thin strips. After that - lay out on a layer of pineapple. Cover with a small layer of mayonnaise. Top with poured grated cucumber. As small as possible we cut eggs and distribute cucumbers. Solim evenly and cover with sauce. Pour a layer of hard cheese.
