Least developed countries. Latest information

Recently, the UN is particularly keen on discussing the issue of assistance to countries in need. According to them, the least developed countries of the world have the necessary reserve of resources for active development of the economy. Moreover, these states are endowed not only with a rich reserve of natural resources, but also intellectual property can reach a decent level.

At the next meeting of the UN members, a strategic goal was identified, which implies a significant reduction in the list called "Least Developed Countries of the World" by 2021. Under the most favorable conditions, it is planned to achieve in the ten-year period that local people will be provided with adequate food, health and education in these regions.

To realize this goal, the developed countries will have to provide all possible financial assistance. It is proposed to introduce a social program, according to which the amount of annual deductions will be 0.2% of the national income of each participating country.

The least developed countries in the presented list of the UN are in the number of 48. According to experts, the total population in all these regions is about 900 million people, with more than 50% of all people being representatives of the younger generation. This fact once again proves the need to fight for better living and working conditions for the people of these states.

Of course, the least developed countries in Africa took the largest share . According to experts, 34 states of the African continent can be safely attributed to weak unprofitable regions. Their prominent representatives are Mozambique, Burundi, Zambia, Madagascar and many others. Despite the fact that Sudan was considered the largest state in Africa, the development of trade and industrial life in this region leaves much to be desired.

Of special interest is the standard of living in the countries of Asia. On the one hand, there are such powerful powers as China, Japan, United Arab Emirates. The government of these countries brings to life many social programs that contribute to improving the quality of life, providing every citizen with all the conditions necessary for a comfortable existence. For example, in Japan, very high wages, but prices for living in order higher than the usual to our mentality. On the other hand, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Cambodia, Myanmar, Nepal and some others are among the brightest representatives of the poorest countries. It's amazing that these countries are really endowed with great potential, but the development of the economy is practically not progressing.

The least developed countries of the world also touched the American continent. The island of Haiti is famous for the neglect of the terrain and the absolute underdevelopment of human resources in terms of education. With a fairly impressive population of 10 million people, there is migration on a huge scale. This state of affairs is due to incessant wars, cataclysms and mass casualties among people in various epidemics.
