Salad "Squirrel": the best recipes

Among the many delicious festive dishes, the "Belochka" salad stands apart. Most similar snacks in preparation are troublesome, require a variety of ingredients - often quite rare or expensive. This same dish is done quickly, and by composition can be called primitive. At the same time, his taste is tender, velvety, and his appearance is smart.

Note that there are several ways to prepare a salad "Squirrel". And there are versions that are radically different from the most famous ones, but they bear the same name. In order not to offend any of the chefs, we tried to collect basic versions of all variations.

Classical performance

Most often, the housewives prepare a salad "Belochka" from the melted cheese. It is done very quickly, there are no subtleties. You can only advise the cheese to take semi-soft, so it was easier to rub it. However, if you categorically prefer a soft product, you can pre-freeze it in the freezer beforehand.

So, rub two melted cheese and four hard-boiled eggs. Three or four cloves of garlic are squeezed into the bowl with a base (its quantity is regulated according to family tastes). If necessary, the salad "Squirrel" can be salted, but first you need to try: the cheeses are well sucked. The dish is filled with low-fat mayonnaise, after which it is immediately put on the table.

Possible modifications

Often such a composition of the hostess is not limited. Yet in garlic, the smack and smell are sharp; To soften them, a small tomato is finely chopped into the mass (if desired, you can remove the peel) and a half of the Bulgarian pepper. At the same time, the vegetables will give the dish a brightness and brilliance.

Salad "Squirrel": a recipe with different cheeses

The main ingredients mentioned in the previous, basic recipe are supplemented with new ones - and a completely original taste is obtained. However, the process does not end there: a 200-gram bar of hard cheese is rubbed in the container (Russian is quite appropriate) and a similar piece of frozen oil. Next, in the salad "Squirrel" introduced squeezed garlic (roughly six lobules) and a spoon of chopped nuts. The easiest way is to add walnuts, but it will be more delicious with forest or cedar. After mixing, the dish is usually filled with mayonnaise.

Carrot variant

In this recipe, the salad "Squirrel" corresponds to its name, because it has a red "fur coat". Two carrots of medium size and bright coloring are cleaned and coarsely rubbed. A pair of melted cheeses are crushed in a similar way. Two or three garlic cloves are carried through the press. All ingredients are mixed and flavored with mayonnaise. Many mothers prepare this salad for children's holidays. It is performed in the form of a corresponding animal, it turns out colorful, juicy, and is eaten off by the offspring in the first place. The cooking is in such a sequence.

  1. Three large potatoes are cleaned, cooked and rubbed onto a dish in the form of a squirrel. You can not use a grater, but cut it finely. A mesh of mayonnaise is applied from above.
