Family needs: forms, types, motives, ways of rational implementation
Each individual is part of a single unit of society - the family. In all social groups the size and the number of persons can vary in different limits: from 2 people (wife and husband) and more. But for this cell to be beneficial not only in procreation but as a source of social, scientific and social progress, it is necessary to know what the needs of the family are. What are the aspects of this concept? What kinds of needs exist? What is their specificity and diversity?
About the needs
If we talk about what this concept represents, then in all dictionaries of the world one idea is slipping: it is a conscious need to have a material or spiritual good. Trying to identify the needs of the family, you need to consider the rationality of their application. Not everyone can clearly decide for himself, one or another thing is needed.
A set of necessary things for a family consists of many factors. The acquisition of a thing is influenced by the achievement of scientific progress, the level of people's security, the level of material development of society. But the rationality of consumption does not consist in limiting the number of such benefits, because with the growth of manufactured goods, the demands of a person are also growing. But at the same time, all desires in things relate to the material component, whose possibilities for each cell of society are completely different. Someone can allow a child an expensive toy, and someone provides family members with only basic necessities and food. But there are needs and spiritual ones - these are emotions, impressions, communication, and you can get them without investing money.
Consumption
That is why, in order to determine the needs of the family, each person should find out for himself the range of the most necessary things and spiritual values, without which it is impossible to exist. Usually this event takes place at a family meeting, where all the requests of each member of the family are heard and the importance and necessity of each acquisition is highlighted. Things and values that are needed most are purchased in the first place, and those items that are of low importance will be in standby mode. It is the budget of each individual that affects the rationality of consumption.
- Without which it is impossible to do without in the near future;
- What can wait;
- From which you can refuse.
Planning a purchase
To understand what everyone really needs, it's enough to go into a normal house. Technology needs of the family is based on a well-formed form of acquiring a particular thing. For example, on basic necessities, you need to pay more attention and acquire first of all (warm clothes for the winter). Things that play the same function, but have an overestimate value, are worth buying in the event that the first item is executed (there is an opportunity to spend money on a more beautiful and exclusive thing). When the family budget is in surplus, you can afford luxury goods (buy an expensive home theater or jewelry).
The desires of children: how to make their needs moderate?
But the social needs of the family, depending on the composition, will change. For example, a young married couple who moved to a new home, you need to plan the purchase of furniture, without which you can not do. Young parents must first of all realize the wishes of the baby (food, crib, clothes, stroller).
Organization of needs
All the needs of family members are divided into several categories: by spheres of activity, by object of needs, by importance, by functional role, by subject of needs. But the main point to consider is how the desire to buy something arises. The first stage is the moment of the meeting with the object, and the second is the moment after the meeting with this or that thing. All that contributes to the acquisition of this thing is motivation, an incentive to action. The source of the motive can be fashion, advice of relatives or even imitation of someone.
Motives for the emergence of needs and the results of their implementation
Experts believe that frequent meetings with "desired" objects, but not yet acquired, increase the level of need for them. For example, regular shopping trips force the brain to focus on things that a person does not yet have. Thus, the need for a purchase increases. To organize a family budget and meet the needs of each family member, you need to correctly allocate and identify the rationality of future purchases. If the need is indispensable and requires an early implementation, it must be done with the highest possible speed, because the lack of realization of the need causes depression and stress.
