"Logoisk" and "Silichi" - ski resorts in Belarus

In Belarus there are no high mountains, however, thanks to enthusiasts and entrepreneurs, in 2004-2005, the wonderful ski resorts "Logoisk" and "Silichi" were created in the country. They are not world-class, and eminent athletes do not come here. But the ski resorts of Belarus are available for Belarusians and guests from neighboring countries, who appreciate the climate in the resort, a slight difference in the heights of the hills and a relatively low cost of enjoyment of rest and skiing.

The Belarusian winter ski season starts from the beginning of December and lasts until the middle of March. But it all depends on weather conditions. If the spring is cold and frosty, the season is prolonged. At the ski resorts of Belarus there is modern technology and snow cannons, which are maintained in the normal state of the route.

Ski resort "Logoisk"

Local residents call this resort "Belarusian Switzerland". Talented designers, taking into account the natural terrain and using modern technologies, created a European complex with a developed infrastructure. In the resort town there are hotels and guest cottages, a wonderful restaurant "Gascini Mayentak", which serves both national and European cuisine. The prices are moderate.

But the main thing at the ski resorts of Belarus are the roads. And there are seven of them in "Logoisk". There is a "red" descent, more complex, and two "green" - for beginners. There is also a special slope where you can learn to ride under the guidance of a coach. The cost of an individual lesson with an instructor will cost 800 rubles per hour. The rope tow lifts to the training descent.

On the basis of the ski resort "Logoisk" (Belarus) there is a rental of equipment: ski kits (adults and children), snowboarding kits, shoes to them, sticks. The prices for the equipment are indicated in the price-lists of the center.

"Silichi"

The popularity of the ski resort "Silichi" in Belarus is growing every year. It is located in the Logoisk District, literally a few kilometers from the no less popular "Logoisk". On the territory of the resort there is a hotel complex and guest houses. There is a free car park for 800 cars.

Seven tracks of varying complexity and length at the disposal of winter sports enthusiasts. In this ski resort in Belarus, the trails were built taking into account the landscape, consisting of hills and lowlands. Trails operate daytime and in the evening when lights are turned on. Two of them - for beginners and children, two - simple, four - medium complexity and one complex. All have lifts. Their cost ranges from 400 to 700 rubles. The rolling base has all the equipment necessary for skiing on the slopes.

How to get to the resorts "Logoisk" and "Silichi"

Both ski resorts are located in the Logoisk district of 30-35 km from Minsk. That is, you can get from Minsk by regular shuttle bus. In the direction of Logoisk every hour there is a fixed-route taxi and a regular bus every 40 minutes. Similarly, there are bus routes to Silichi.

If you go from Minsk by car, the track "Minsk - Vitebsk" leads to "Logoisk". Before "Silichi" - from the Minsk ring road on the Logoy route. Not having reached four kilometers to Logoisk, turn to the right, and there under the sign on "Silichi".

Both resorts are good. Who comes to learn how to ride - learn, do not waste time. Instructors will help you. But in a couple of days you will feel how great it is to ride on snowy slopes.
