Secrets of fishing: the pros and cons of using inertia-free coils

Currently fishing for spinning tackle is simply unthinkable without inertia-free coils. They are equipped not only with spinnings, but also donkeys, and even float fishing rods. These coils are different from other stationary spools. It does not rotate either when casting a tackle, or when it's disemboweled, that is, by rewinding the line. This tack makes it so popular, unlike the inertial coil, of course, the complete elimination of such an unpleasant and problematic phenomenon as the formation of a "beard," that is, entanglement of a fishing line. At the moment, almost all models of inertia-free coils are rightly considered to be ideal for spinning and feeding gear. They can be divided into three types:

- open (with unprotected spools);

- Semi-closed;

- covered (the spool is protected by a hood).

This type of coil is especially suitable for inexperienced anglers. Due to the fact that they have a small weight and size, they are easy to use, without experiencing any difficulty both when casting the bait and when fishing the fish. They are designed in such a way that you can safely throw up both spoon-baiters and feeders of absolutely different weight categories. Of course, many novice anglers may think that this kind of coils is too complicated, because you have to use the left hand when winding the fishing line. But to this very quickly you get used, it is enough to practice several times. In more expensive models of inertia-free coils, there is a low level of wear of parts and minimal friction of the line when casting. Therefore, buying this tackle, you should not save.

The device of the inertial-free coil is rather complicated, so it is of no use to go into its details. It is better to consider in more detail the principle of work. When casting, the fishing line wound on the spool should safely run across its edge. At the same time, it is guided by the closest access ring to the rod. Friction at this point about the spool is practically absent. It is important that when winding the used line must lie flat. Some coils have special gaskets for this.

Most high-quality inertia-free coils have modern spools, designed to wind approximately 90 m of the line. However, there is no need for the aforementioned gaskets. At the beginning of the rewinding, it is necessary to return the arch of the timber scraper to the starting position. The line, wound on the spool, is regulated by means of a guide, located in the bow. This design greatly simplifies the casting process to any distance, while minimizing the possibility of entanglement of the line. If we generalize, then we can say with confidence that the main advantage of modern coils is simplicity in circulation.

Well, now a little about the shortcomings with which inertia-free coils are endowed. The price and quality here clearly correspond to each other. The more expensive the tackle, the longer its service life, the possibility of quality long-distance casts. It will also affect the process of dumping large trophies from the reservoir. Therefore, the quality of tackle largely determines the success of the entire fishing.
