Perhaps the two central streets - the Gunners and Pushkin - most vividly convey the character and originality of the city. This is the historical Kolomna. Sights are located on both sides of these ancient streets. These are magnificent merchants' mansions and more strict public buildings. This is the old estate of Shevlyagins, the house of the merchant Tupitsyn and the apartments of Kolomna Mayor Meshchaninov.
