Healthy food and caloric content of biscuits

Biscuit is nothing but dried bread. Dry it for storage or for use as an ingredient in different dishes.

The history of the custom to dry crackers is quite interesting: the fact is that in the 19th century Moscovia was very hot weather, because of this, on Easter, many easter breads that stood in the sun just dried up. And in connection with the fact that traditionally holy bread can not be thrown away, it had to be soaked in water. And then it turned out that the dry cake, soaked in water, is very delicious. Since then, a tradition has arisen to dry biscuits.

Varieties of biscuits

Assortment of biscuits is very wide. There are vanilla crackers, with nuts, with raisins, with poppy seeds, with chocolate, with garlic, with herbs, salted, sweet and others. Also, biscuits can have a wide variety of shapes and costs. But there is another quality, according to which the crackers are distinguished - the caloric content of biscuits and their usefulness. Let us dwell on this issue in more detail.

In creamy breadcrumbs, which are made from wheat flour exclusively of the highest grade, proteins, fats, carbohydrates, water and dietary fiber are contained . Caloric content of biscuits of this type is approximately 397 kcal in 100 grams. In addition, such dry biscuits include potassium, sodium, calcium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium and vitamins B, B2, PP.

If we talk about simple breadcrumbs, which are made from wheat flour of the first grade, they contain the same proteins, fats, carbohydrates and water, only in other proportions, so the calorific value of the biscuits of this species is somewhat less - 331 kcal in 100 grams. Plus in these breadcrumbs there are the same potassium, sodium, magnesium, calcium, iron, phosphorus and vitamins B, PP and B2.

Biscuits are useful in dietary nutrition, because the proteins, carbohydrates and fats contained in them are easily recycled by the human body. However, do not eat crackers over and above, because there are calories in breadcrumbs.

Many people mistakenly believe that all the crackers have the same calorie content - you will have to disappoint a little. Crumbs with different additives will differ in their energy value; So, the caloric content of biscuits with raisins will be somewhat larger than the usual biscuits. Also, the calorie content of crackers with different flavors is very different, which are sold in sachets. In addition to the fact that in one bag there will be about 170 calories (if a bag of 50 g), so the caloric content will be added due to the fact that in such crackers there is salt, butter and flavor additives, which it is difficult to call dietary.
