Many are used to think that domestic lynx is a special breed of cats (Maine Coon and Kurilian Bobtail), which is very similar to this animal. But in fact, they have nothing to do with cats. You can also mistakenly confuse the domestic lynx with an ordinary wild trot, which is forcibly taken from the wild environment and brought home or just bred the animal in captivity. In fact, the domestic lynx is an artificially bred breed. It was created by crossing a cat of a certain, suitable color with the Canadian trot, which is rather small in size, unlike the rest of its relatives. Because of the small size, this breed was chosen. From the cat of a domestic lynx got character, and appearance, accordingly, from a lynx. While this breed is extremely rare, and not everyone can afford this luxury.

What do these charming animals look like?

But, nevertheless, for an animal, there must be a separate territory, on which it will feel like a master. Also, ideally, this cat needs a tree, because genetically it contains a strong musculature, which should develop. If there is no possibility to equip the tree, then it is necessary to adapt at least some suitable items, which can be jumped and climbed. In food, the domestic lynxes are unpretentious. They can be fed in the same way as a normal cat, but only must have rough ingredients, so that the jaws also develop correctly. And, of course, natural food. Without it, the animal will not be healthy. Dry food - in this case, not a good idea, if you are important to the health of your pet. It is also necessary to periodically care for the animal's hair, comb it out to an unusual pet, when licked, did not swallow the wool. For prevention, it is sometimes better to give special medicines for cleaning the intestines from the coat. With proper care, care and love with a domestic trot, you can establish a warm relationship. But never forget that the wild instincts of this animal still hide somewhere on the genetic level and can wake up at any time under the influence of certain factors. Therefore, before you start such a pet, you need to think again, weighing all the pros and cons. This is especially true for families with children.
