Deviant behavior is a deviation from legal and moral norms of behavior

A person who is different from a society that does acts that contradict moral or legal norms is defined as the owner of deviant behavior. It differs from others in the non-acceptance of social norms, aggression, the ability to unreasonable actions that are contrary to the human mind. Deviant behavior is the inability to control one's actions, to control the mental state. In particular, these signs are manifested under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Such people are immediately distinguished from society by disobedience and free-thinking. Disobedience is one of the main features of this person. Deviant behavior confirms this, a person does not fit into any framework and is not even able to adapt in the surrounding society. His behavior may even be dangerous. The concept of deviant behavior is deciphered in a narrow and broad sense. In the narrow - these are people who differ from the generally accepted norms of behavior, but do not pose a danger to society. And in the broad - the behavior of a person threatens others and entails criminal liability. Such people commit criminally punishable acts, and in psychology the behavior of such personalities is called delinquent.

Associative type of behavior.

Diagnosis and prevention of deviant behavior

Based on the statistics of sociologists, we can say that 30% of society have different forms of deviant behavior. Moreover, these 30% in turn are divided into those that pose a threat to humanity, and those that are simply distinguished by unusual behavior. But they do not carry threats, on the contrary, their behavior is admired by all, considering that these people, thanks to their extraordinary nature, will be able to achieve great heights in life. We completely forgot about the remaining 70%, which do not stand out as anything special. They are called average residents, and some philosophers are called gray masses. The causes of deviant behavior should be sought, first of all, in childhood, and also pay attention to the position of the patient in the family. Prevention, conducted in time, will help to protect a person from these deviations from the norms of behavior. Diagnosis of deviant behavior is not carried out without taking into account human biological data. Caesar Lombroso argues that the causes of such deviations should be sought in the features of the physique of the individual. Later this theory was rejected, and psychologists found that manifested deviant behavior is a consequence of genetic predisposition. That is, this feature is inherited, but it was not possible to displace the biological theory completely. Some biological abnormalities predispose to the development of deviant behavior.
