History of a fermented milk product
The very word "yogurt" (yoğurt) is Turkish, and is translated as "condensed". But a dish of fermented milk was known much earlier than the Ottoman Empire was born. Still Pliny the Elder wrote that the Scythians thicken the milk and make from it a delicious drink. Bulgarians, being a nomadic people, drank koumiss. And when they settled, they began to make yogurt from sheep's milk. The Turks merely borrowed this invention and gave it a name. And in Europe, yogurt became famous for the intestinal colic of King Louis the Eleventh (second half of the fifteenth century). A certain doctor from Constantinople regaled the monarch with condensed milk and fermented milk, which caused him to recover. Here is a long and tortuous way to go to the tables of Europeans, yogurt "Danissimo".
Manufacturer
The firm "Danone" was not accidentally founded by Isaac Karasso, a native of the Balkans. This doctor in 1919 began to practice in Barcelona. At that time, many children in Spain had intestinal disorders and dysbacteriosis. And then Isaac Karasso remembered that at home these ailments were traditionally treated with yogurt. As far back as 1908, the Russian professor Ilya Mechnikov determined what exactly milk fermented. For the transformation of it into yogurt are responsible strains of the Bulgarian wand (the bacterium is named after the birthplace of the drink) and thermophilic streptococcus. Karasso prescribed these lactic cultures to Barcelona. At first he offered his product to the doctors of the capital of Catalonia. And then, when its benefits became well-known, clay pots with fermented milk from Danon began to be sold in pharmacies in Barcelona. But it took about twenty years for the products to take shelves in ordinary stores, and even more so that the yogurt "Danissimo" was born. By 1942, Danon was already known in Western Europe, the United States, as well as in Brazil and Mexico. In 1953, the company produced a sour milk product with juice and pieces of fruit. From that time, nothing restrained the culinary imagination of producers.
Wide range of products
In 2007, the company adopted a new concept. Now it is focused solely on the production of "healthy" products, which can be consumed in children's nutrition. And, first of all, it is milk and products from it: yoghurts, curds, mashed potatoes. So the line "Danissimo" appeared. It was created in order to pamper yourself, loved ones. After all, in the yoghurts, cottage cheese and cream desserts of this brand, there is so much bliss that, indeed, "let the world wait" while we enjoy it. Everyone can choose for themselves something suitable from the widest range of products. Here you and traditional berries, and chocolate crumbs, tiramisu, cheesecake and even plombir! Benefits for the body and delicious taste - this is what captivates the yogurt "Danissimo". "Fantasy" is a new line. Unusual products immediately striking. After all, creamy yogurt "Danissimo Fantasy" consists of two jars under one lid. Let's look inside.
Assortment of the line "Danissimo"
Under this name, creamy yoghurts and delicious desserts are produced. These latter amaze with a variety of tastes. Desserts combine pieces of fruit or jam, a delicate curd and a biscuit. Therefore the name of some jars speaks for itself: "Strawberry cheesecake", "Tiramisu", "Lemon-Ginger", "Banana-Caramel". There are a lot of desserts, which use different types of chocolate. There is a taste of ice cream. Quite popular is a curd dessert with the addition of chocolate balls. But there the crunchy properties of the flakes are already largely lost from a long stay in the liquid medium. For those who adore "breakfast cereals", and was invented yogurt "Danissimo" with balls. It consists of two compartments. In larger is the yogurt itself, without any aromatic additives (except that a little vanilla). The second, smaller, contains balls in two types of chocolate glaze (black and white), berry pellets or flakes. There are also yoghurts, where in this compartment is jam (strawberry, blueberry, etc.).
Composition
It is indicated on the package. What is made of yogurt "Danissimo"? A photo of the label shows everything without concealment. Yogurt itself (the one in the larger compartment) is made from skimmed natural and dry milk, cream, sugar and sourdough. As you can see, nothing criminal, that is harmful to health. The taste of this yogurt is almost unsweetened, slightly sour, very tender in consistency, with a velvety taste. Now let's look at the smaller compartment. Take crispy chocolate balls. Flakes are made from rice and wheat flour, barley malt, bran, sugar and salt. What is embarrassing is calcium carbonate as a stabilizer and soy lecithin, which serves as an emulsifier. The balls are covered with three kinds of chocolate: dark, milk and white. The composition of the glaze is approximately the same: cocoa butter, sugar, lecithin, milk, vanilla.
Caloric value
What is the nutritional value of "Danissimo" yogurt? The caloric content of this product depends largely on the filler. After all, yogurt in its pure form is a dietary product. In the jar, only three grams of protein, 6.9 g of fats, and carbohydrates are 12.3 g. The energy value of the larger compartment is only one hundred and twenty four calories per hundred grams of yogurt. But if you take into account the contents of a smaller compartment, then you need to think three times to lose weight before you start absorbing delicious fillers. Gem - strawberry or blueberry - will be the lesser evil. Although here we see the sugar content - not a very useful ingredient. We calculate the energy value of the filler, traditionally taking as a basis chocolate balls. Carbohydrates in them sixty-one grams, fats - 26,6 g, and proteins - 6,1. As for the energy value, there are five hundred and seven calories in one hundred grams of chocolate balls.
Other Features
Like the rest of Danon's products, in Russia, Danissimo yoghurt is produced by a counterpart, which is Danone Industry LLC. But do not worry about the quality of the original cottage cheese and desserts. After all, the chief director in the Russian campaign is Bernard Alan Marie Ducro. He makes sure that the products produced in the Russian Federation do not differ from the world standards. In the capital's shops, yoghurts, desserts, milk, curds, sour cream and cream come from the village of Lyubuchany, Chekhov district, Moscow region.
