The goal of many activities for the second stage is the prevention of drug addiction and alcoholism in the teenage environment, because, according to statistics, many first tried these substances at this particular age.

Educational work in the school in this direction includes training with a psychologist who teaches children to answer "no" for pressure, have their own point of view on the problem and, if necessary, defend it, ways of resolving conflicts. Special programs are used for this. Important here is the systematic nature of classes.

The teacher can organize an educational event in the school for the prevention of drug addiction with the invitation of experts in this field (narcologist, inspector of ODN, etc.). Competitions of drawings for students, use of media resources in classes and conversations are effective in this direction.

At the older age (10-11 class), educational work in the school is aimed at helping in self-determination, self-expression. Here the activity of students in master classes, self-management, etc. can help. All this will allow the future graduate to be able to navigate in the surrounding world, and also to decide on the choice of the profession and, accordingly, the university.

One of the most common forms in the upbringing direction is a class hour. Teachers prefer to conduct it in the form of a conversation, which in some situations is quite effective. However, you can use here and other activities, such as a dispute, a game-journey, a quiz and much more.
Educational work in school affects parents. Often teachers bypass them with their attention, confined only to parents' meetings, on which organizational issues are mainly addressed. But the parents of students can become indispensable helpers for the teacher in many endeavors. In addition, an important role is played by adult education in matters of family relations.
