Vladimir Vlasov - a popular politician in the Sverdlovsk region

Vladimir Vlasov has gone from an electrician at a large enterprise in a small Ural town to a government official of the Sverdlovsk region. For several years he held the post of the head of the city of Asbest, where he was well remembered by local residents for his democracy and deeds.

Biographical information

Vlasov Vladimir Alexandrovich is a native of the city of Asbest in the Sverdlovsk Region. Date of birth - 13.02.1958. In 1977, after graduating from high school in Asbest, he went to work at the "Uralasbest" combine as a well driller. From 1978 to 1980 he was drafted to serve in the border troops, where he was marked with the sign "Excellent Border Troops" of the first and second degree.

Having demobilized, Vlasov Vladimir, whose biography had been associated with Asbest city for a long time, returned to work at the Uralasbest Combine. In the southern mine of this mining enterprise, he began electric locksmith car repair depot and rose to the post of deputy chief.

In parallel, he studied at the Sverdlovsk Mining Institute, receiving in 1986 a specialty mining engineer for the electrification and automation of mining.

Transition to party work and further career growth

1987 was a turning point: Vlasov Vladimir was invited to work in the asbestos hill of the Communist Party. The first secretary of the city party committee A. Gusev, who later was transferred to the regional committee, later promoted the city council of Asbest city.

At the end of 2009, the new governor Alexander Misharin and the new chairman of the regional government, Anatoly Gredin, facilitated rearrangements in the top echelon of power, as a result of which the post of the first deputy chairman of the government was combined with the ministerial post for social protection of the population.

Reforms in the regional government

On 13.04.2011, the Sverdlovsk Governor Alexander Misharin, reforming government structures, issued a decree according to which Vladimir Vlasov, while remaining the regional deputy prime minister, received the post of minister of social protection of the population.

On April 18, 2012, Vlasov was appointed chairman of the regional government. In May 2012, in the Sverdlovsk region, the governor was replaced. This post was taken by Evgeny Vladimirovich Kuyvashev . Vlasov became Acting Head of the Government of the region, and from 23.06.2012 again took the post of first deputy in the regional government, which was until September this year.

In October 2016, Vlasov Vladimir, whose policy became an integral part of life, in the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk region took the post of deputy chairman.

Participation in various events

Residents of the Sverdlovsk region know Vlasov for organizing various events of regional scope. In August 2013, preparations were made for the all-Russian ecological clean-up "Green Russia", one of the initiators of which was former world chess champion A. Karpov.

Vlasov VA as the first deputy chairman of the regional government led the organizing committee for the preparation of "Green Russia" in the region.

The aim of this large-scale event was to improve the state of the environment in the cities and towns of the Sverdlovsk region. The organizers attracted the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Energy, and the regional educational system.

Vlasov stressed that it is necessary to concentrate efforts on cleaning up the rubbish of settlements, in particular, to clean the coastal strips of water bodies in cities, parks, squares, other nature conservation areas. He urged every municipality to prepare carefully for the action, to take care of everything necessary in advance: to find bags where it is necessary to collect garbage, to prepare enough transport for the export of filled bags.

A good organization allowed everyone to find a worthy application for their work, to show civic activity and to be glad of the real result of their efforts.

In total, more than two thousand residents of the capital of the Urals and the region participated in the "Green Russia" campaign.

Caring for children

The first deputy chairman of the regional government did not stay aside in the event of an outbreak of intestinal infection, when in July 2013 more than fifty children from the camp of the "Dawn" Sysertsky district of the Sverdlovsk region were burned down with high fever and abdominal pain.

Vlasov was instructed workers of the Ministry of Regional Health urgently send a group of medical workers to the camp, who conducted an investigation into the causes that contributed to the mass disease.
