Losiny Ostrov: biostation, park and forest. What to see here and how to get there?

About parks and green areas of Moscow you can often hear a lot of enthusiastic stories. History of the park

Biostation is a special territory where moose are kept. The purpose of organizing such a territory is to save lost elk, to help and feed them, and to dilute the local population with individuals brought from other places.

Here they were carefully looked after, raised, and after a while they were released to freedom. In order not to lose moose, they were put on special collars, with which you could track movements.
