Universal charger: how to restore the battery

Universal charger type "frog" is widely used for filling with current of lithium batteries used in cell phones and other small-sized technical devices. This device can not charge other types of batteries. It is also used to drive completely discharged energy stores.

Universal charger for phones has on its body two sliding whiskers, through which it is connected to the contact areas of batteries. In some cases, such places on the battery can be from two to four.

When the whiskers are connected to the battery, the devices are pushed to the required distance and placed on the negative and plus areas of the battery. It is not always necessary to observe the polarity. The automatic device will automatically determine this parameter.

If the universal charger has buttons on the body, then after connecting the battery, you must ensure that the connection is correct. To do this, press the left button. If the diode located under the inscription "FUL" and "CON" is lit, then the device is connected correctly. If the indicators do not light up, you can judge the connection is wrong or the battery is completely depleted. In this situation, you should change the polarity. If this time there is no result after pressing the button, it can be concluded that the battery is completely depleted or, perhaps, the whiskers do not touch the battery compartments.

After the universal charger with the installed battery is connected to the mains, you can see a blinking of the charge indicator, the diode located under the inscription "CH". After the battery is fully charged, "FUL" lights up. If, after connecting to a "CH" outlet, the charge indicator does not start flashing, you need to check the polarity of the connection or the connection of the mustache with the pads. To do this, you can press the polarity reversal button if it enters the "frog" device.

The following factors can indicate the failure of the battery :

- Universal charger does not start charging;

- after the connection, the "FUL" message lights up immediately;

- The battery is charged very quickly (within 5-10 minutes).

Energy accumulators that have a large number of contact areas can also be charged by means of a "frog". However, to do this, you need to disassemble the battery and connect the device directly to the bank, passing the battery controller. This is done if the controller does not allow charging via pads.

The unloading of the discharged drive is performed using universal chargers. If the phone was not working for a long time, the battery could be discharged. In this case, it may not be possible to recharge with the supplied device. The "frog" comes to the rescue.

To restore the battery, just connect the universal charger for five minutes to the phone's battery. Further the battery can be filled with energy already in the case of the mobile phone.

The charging time depends on the capacity of the battery, it can last from 2 to 5 hours.
