Battery recovery. Salvation or anguish?

The discoveries and ambitious plans of all are striking only the beginning of the 21st century. Progress does not stand still, covering all the larger areas. Since the creation of the battery, it has undergone many changes, but to this day it is the leader among non-stationary sources. In everyday life, we are surrounded by a large number of different batteries, ranging from the smallest in the phones to the huge in the special equipment.

In this regard, the recovery of batteries becomes particularly relevant. The accumulator is considered to be a device for accumulating energy due to a chemical reaction for its subsequent use. Any car owner should know that it is the electrolyte in the battery that carries out the reaction, which contributes to its charging and further use. This technology was discovered in the 18th century, and since then only materials and components have changed, and the principle has remained the same.

The most obvious sign of battery discharge It is considered a lack of power to start the starter and then start the engine. There may be several reasons for this, and the easiest way to bring it back into operation can be a simple charge. If this did not work, then you have two options - either restoring the battery, or buying a new one. And then opinions diverge. Some argue that it is better to buy a new one and not waste your time and energy, others say that the recovery process is not so difficult, and the effect can be preserved for several more seasons.

If the recovery of the battery seems to you not so difficult for independent work, then you need to know about the five main methods:

1) Charge by reverse currents.

Reverse current - alternating current with different pulse and amplitude duration. For each pulse repetition interval, the battery is charged and partially discharged. With this approach, ideal conditions for restorative reactions are created.

2) Recovery with the use of training cycles.

Usually this procedure is performed once a year, performing the following actions: fully charge the battery and leave it for 3 hours, adjust its density, and then give a charge for another 30 minutes. The final cycle allows you to evenly move the charge in the electrolyte for a subsequent ten-hour discharge with voltage and density monitoring. Such a technique, although effective, has its drawbacks.

3) Flushing and replacing faulty components.

This method is quite widespread among the people, is one of the most environmentally dirty and labor-intensive. Often, the work done does not work, and the recovery of the battery becomes impossible.

4) Recovery using impulse currents.

This technique is used mainly by large firms with a large number of specialized equipment. The reason for such unpopularity are the following shortcomings: high equipment costs, high energy consumption and labor costs, the duration of the entire recovery process.

5) Additives.

The chemical reaction here is the basis of the whole process. According to the feedback of car owners, this principle can be considered a short-term one, and their subsequent frequent use can lead to a complete stop of any reaction to the batteries.

Regardless of the method chosen, we recommend that you restore the battery to the masters in specialized centers.
