It can be said that chicken and turkeys have dietary meat. Cultivation of the latter, however, is much more profitable. Also you need to consider that turkey meat is still a rarity on our shelves, so it will be sold quickly, besides, its cost is higher than that of chicken.
Content of turkeys: feeding
The difficulty is that, growing chicks without a turkey, you will have to teach them everything yourself. There is a teaching, tapping on the floor with your finger near the feeder, drinking is taught, dipping beaks into the drinking bowl.
The turkey must be fed with high-quality food. Until two weeks they are given boiled eggs, oat porridge, cottage cheese. From the second week, only grain is gradually left, vegetables, chalk, shells are added to them. From three days give greens (grass). Until two weeks, the chicks are fed two hours and one night, the older ones six times during the day.
The first five days of the feeder should be soft so that the chicks do not damage the beaks. Drinkers put closed, kids should not get wet, they easily catch cold. Water is given room temperature.
