Three ways to remove ads

People who have ever worked on the Internet, for sure, faced not only with the advantages that the global network gives, but also with some annoying circumstances associated with moving around the pages. One of these factors are bothersome pop-up banners, because of which there is a reasonable desire to remove advertising.

What is a banner?

The banners themselves are windows that open with the page, which can follow the cursor of the user or practically cover the necessary information. The content of these advertising banners, as a rule, completely does not correspond to the purpose with which the person came to the resource. Therefore, the Internet surfer has to click on the advertisement to close it and finally reach the landing page. The trouble is that after the banner is closed, another window opens, which moves the user to the advertiser's page.

Pop-up advertising action

The main purpose of such obsessive advertising is to increase the number of transitions to third-party sites that are aggressively advertised by banners. Accordingly, the number of transitions is calculated by the interest of people in a particular service or the advertised product. But in fact, such statistics are ineffective. Most users get to the sites of advertisers quite by accident, even against their will. They just try to close the interfering window, which instead of just disappearing, moves them to an un-targeted site.

As a result, the advertiser does not receive reliable information, and the user simply does not know how to remove advertising. After all, its presence makes it difficult to work in the network and causes considerable irritation. In addition, constantly closing all these pop-up disturbances, the web surfer has to spend more of his precious time. And time in our lives is the most popular resource. It's no wonder that many who have encountered such a problem after are wondering how to remove pop-up ads.

Some features and danger

I must say that another feature of this kind of advertising is excessive brightness and the desire to attract people's attention. Positive feelings it causes in visitors or negative - it does not matter. After all, the main goal is to distract them and look at the banner. Therefore, the appearance of advertising windows is often accompanied by additional effects, for example, excessively loud music. This, coupled with complete surprise, is not a joyful emotion in the web surfer. But it forces him to frantically look for that little hidden cross, with which it will be possible to quickly get rid of the music that did not play at the right time. And, therefore, the effect is achieved. Even worse, when advertising breaks the computer. Some banners are capable of rewarding it with a malicious virus, without the user's knowledge. Against this background, the question of how to remove advertising, so as not to find adventures on its head, becomes even more urgent.

How to remove advertising?

For such purposes, there are several ways. They are equally effective to protect against most pop-up banners, but some require more user involvement than others. One of the most basic ways to remove ads is to disable the Java script and then reload the page. This option works for most types of advertisements. But some, going through the application of Flash, it will be beyond his power.

Modern browsers also provide appropriate filters. The simplest are included initially, others are installed in the form of plug-ins in addition. For example, in the Mozilla browser, the process of disabling advertising takes only a couple of minutes. First, there is a special extension Adblock Plus. This is in addition to the built-in protection function. To access the right tool, the user needs to go to the settings, then to the content, and there simply check the box "block pop-ups". Almost the same way, you can enable the protection function in other popular browsers. Only the path in the settings changes in part.

But not always described methods are effective. Then special programs come to the aid of the user. The scenario for the development of the industry here is the same as in the continuous struggle against viruses: the more sophisticated banners become, the more utilities appear to deal with them. At the moment, the choice of such programs is considerable. Here it is possible to carry well-proven Ad Muncher or Adguard, having a convenient Russian interface. The latter differs also by fast work with all popular types of browsers. Plus, Adguard practically does not slow down the speed of the Internet and requires minimal user participation.
