Islyamov Lenur Edemovich is a Crimean Tatar entrepreneur and politician, the figure is very ambiguous and even odious. He successfully developed his business from the late 80's on the territory of Russia, Uzbekistan and Ukraine, and then entered politics, after changing his views on anti-Russian.

A family

Islamov Lenur Edemovich comes from a small Uzbek town of Bekabad. The date of his birth is January 1, 1966. Parents - Crimean Tatars, evicted in 1944 from the Crimea. Seven fathers, like the rest of the Crimean Tatars in those days, suffered deportation: they were evicted from Demerdzhi to Simferopol, and then to Bekabad, where later Lenur Islyamov was born. The mother's family was sent to the Urals in the city of Sverdlovsk. Later they found themselves in the Uzbek city of Andijan.

Lenur Islyamov was born into a family of doctors. In their youth they actively went in for sports. Mother was a volleyball player and champion of the Soviet Union, her father a master of sports in swimming.

Training

Lenur Islyamov studied at the Tashkent Medical Institute at the Dental Faculty. Some time after graduation he worked in his specialty, but then he realized that this was completely different from what he would like to do in the future.

Building bussiness

The beginning of his career is connected with the construction business - in the late 80-ies in Uzbekistan founded the company Aleko Lenur Islyamov. His biography has since been saturated with successful business projects. Perestroika time was marked by the embodiment of business ideas, and our hero decided to take advantage of the opportunities presented in the field of entrepreneurship.

Moving to the capital

Later, he moved to Moscow and began to deal with dealer activities, working with AvtoVAZ. He was always interested in automotive industry, and he is actively starting to develop his business in this direction. Opens a dealer company in the capital, then heads the Uzbek representative office of "Avtoprom" in Russia. But on this expansion of his business does not end - he is mastering the banking sector. In April 2015, the Crimean Tatar television channel ceased broadcasting on the territory of Crimea due to the lack of a license, which was now supposed to comply with the norms of Russian legislation. In June, the ATR managed to resume the broadcast, but now from Kiev.

The Empire of Islyamov

In general, Lenur Islyamov owns more than 20 companies. Among them, for example, a network of stores selling Apple products, and the transport company "SimCityTrans", which used to be the largest passenger carrier in the Crimea. In addition, he owned "Just-Bank", whose license was later withdrawn, as well as by the bank "Reso-Credit".

He is the owner of the distribution company "Kvingrup" - the exclusive importer of ZAZ Chance cars, which are assembled on the territory of Ukraine. The company is a large distributor in Russia and Kazakhstan and mainly sells cars from China.

The creation of "Just-Bank" was conceived more as a tool for the development of its automobile business. Islyamov also opened branches of "Just-Bank" in the Crimea.

The scope of his activities includes various kinds of business projects that have become very successful, but still the most important of his brainchild is the ATR channel.

His company "SimCityTrans" in early December last year was fined for violating the norms of transportation of citizens, and also because of the lack of a license to provide services.

In general, for his entire entrepreneurial activity, Islyamov was controlled by more than 35 companies located in different regions of Russia. Later, he transferred a part of the companies to the possession of his wife and his father Eden. His main business is now in the territory of the Crimea.

Vice Prime Minister

From April to May 2014, he visited the post of vice-premier of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea. Islamov was recommended by the inter-settlement of the Crimean Tatars. From this position he was removed on May 28 - Ruslan Balbek, who is the head of the "Generation Krym" public organization, was appointed instead. The reason for this was the improper fulfillment of his duties by Islyamov and political bias.

While serving as vice-premier, he supported the initiative to separate the peninsula, but after his resignation he changes his political views to the opposite.

During his political activities in the government he actively assisted the Crimean Tatars in providing them with free apartments and building at public expense, using the federal target program for the development of the Crimea. The inflamed corruption scandal also contributed to the termination of his work as deputy prime minister.

Anti-Russian sentiment and the blockade of the Crimea

After Lenura Islyamova was removed from office, he moved to live in Kiev and receives Ukrainian citizenship. From this time his political position has changed radically and is already expressing an anti-Russian orientation. After the Crimean Spring, Islyamov becomes a citizen of Ukraine and positions himself as the main representative of the Mejlis, the executive body of the Crimean Tatar people.

In early August, he participated in the World Congress of Crimean Tatars, held in the capital of Turkey. He made a decision on the need for a blockade of the Crimea, which was soon put into effect.

September 20, 2015, he, along with Mustafa Dzhemilev and Refat Chubarov, is initiating a blockade of the Crimea. He managed to declare himself as the only coordinator of this action, which includes the food and energy block, preparations for the maritime isolation of the peninsula.
