Having decomposed it, we start with a pencil from the middle of any side of the sheet, draw a spiral, 1.5-2 cm high. Inside, leave a patch, which later will serve as the base. When a certain skill comes, the line can be led not in a straight line, but in the form of zigzags resembling the tops of a petal. The length of the zigzags themselves can be varied: in the center of the rose - smaller, by the end - more.

It should be borne in mind that the middle of the flower will be exactly the end of the spiral that starts from the side of the leaf. Then cut through the drawn line, oblique it or straight, paper, resulting in a unique strip of 60-70 cm long.
