Shish kebab in the oven

Since the beginning of spring, I want to go somewhere to have a picnic with my family, fry a barbecue, and if there is no possibility to build a fire, you can cook a shish kebab in the oven at home and grab it with you.

Ideally, the shish kebab is prepared from mutton, but today, as a shish kebab, probably all kinds of meat have been visited. We too will depart a little from traditions and we will prepare shish kebab from other kinds of meat.

Chicken skewers in the oven

For cooking, we need: 1 kg of chicken without pits, 4 large onions, a couple cloves of garlic, half a lemon, tomato paste, a spoonful of sour cream is lean (I use 15%), a little universal seasoning, salt, three tomatoes, one sweet Bulgarian Pepper (preferably green or yellow to contrast with tomatoes), black pepper.

To begin with, chicken fillets are cut into small pieces. Next, we prepare the marinade, note that it is without using vinegar. Marinade from us will be from onion, garlic and lemon. Peel onion and garlic, cut into slices, remove the lemon from the peel and also divide into pieces. Then grind everything with a blender to the state of gruel. Pieces of chicken fillet put in a pan and mix with a lemon marinade, all mix well. Then add spices, salt, tomato paste and low-fat sour cream, stir again. Remove the shish kebab in the refrigerator for a couple of hours, so that the meat is soaked with a fragrant marinade.

When the meat is up, wash the tomatoes and pepper. Cut the tomatoes into slices, and pepper into strips or squares. On the skewers, nourish the ingredients in the following order: tomato - sweet pepper - meat - tomato - pepper - meat - tomato - pepper. Bake a better chicken shish kebab in the oven grill, so he's better prepared. This you will learn from the fragrant smell.

Instead of skewers, you can use ordinary wooden sticks for sushi, pre-soaked in cold water.

This shish kebab can be taken with you to a picnic with family or friends, it is very tasty and hearty.

Pork shish kebab in the oven

For cooking, we need: 1 kg of pork lean, a couple of large bulbs, a whole lemon, seasoning for shish kebab, hot chili (one thing is enough, otherwise the shish kebab turns out to be sharp), salt.

Cut the meat into small portions, put it in a saucepan. Onion grate directly on meat, chili finely chopped and also put on meat, season with spices, squeeze juice from lemon, salt, mix everything and let the shish kebab soak for a couple of hours. Then we puncture the meat on skewers and bake in the oven for half an hour. If desired, you can bake a shish kebab in the oven right on the grate, it's okay.

We serve tomato sauce and greens for shish kebab. It turns out very tasty.

For these shish kebabs I want to offer another marinade, the meat is not less tasty, juicy and tender. So, for the marinade, we need a package of fresh yogurt, one sour apple, a teaspoon of mustard, salt, you can use pepper, or you can use it without it, it's still delicious. Cut the meat, put it in a saucepan. We prepare marinade. We peel the apple, peel it on the grater (do not pour out the juice, it will all go to the marinade), Combine the yogurt and apples, mix, add mustard, salt and spices at will. Pour marinade meat so that it is completely immersed in kefir. We let it stand for three hours and bake it boldly in the oven. Lactic acid, which is contained in kefir, creates a miracle - the meat becomes soft, even if it was hard. To these shish kebabs, I cook a vegetable garnish: carcass cabbage, tomatoes, carrots and onions.

I heard that some people use mineral water for marinade, but I have not tried it yet, I plan to do it in the near future.
