Salad "Paparac kvetka": ingredients, method of preparation

Many people probably think: why the salad "Paparac Kvetka" has such an unusual and incomprehensible name for most people? This dish was invented in Belarus, so many people do not understand its name. In translation from the Belarusian language, this salad is called "flower of the fern".

Although people have never seen the color of a given plant, but this does not mean that the appearance and composition of the ingredients of the dish can be anything. To date, there are more than 20 different variations of this salad, and many already do not even remember what the original recipe should be. Therefore, this recipe will be just classic, such as it was originally designed, with only one change. For a cheaper, this salad will be "Paparac kvetka" with sausage and ham instead of beef and ham.

List of ingredients

This dish has the perfect combination of fresh vegetables and meat. Ideally, you need to take boiled beef meat, but since many people are trying to save, sausage is also a very good ingredient that only improves this dish. For four servings of salad will be required:

  • Ham - 200 g;
  • Sausage - 200 g;
  • Cucumber - 150 g;
  • Tomatoes - 150 g;
  • Onion - 80 g;
  • mayonnaise;
  • Vinegar, salt, pepper.

Naturally, all the ingredients must be fresh and quality, then the taste of the salad is fully revealed.

Salad "Paparac Kvetka": recipe

First of all, you need to pickle onion. Cut this vegetable into half rings, but if the bulb is large, then the half-rings can be cut in half. 80 g of onions to put in a small deep bowl and scald it with a small amount of boiling water, then add a little vinegar, salt and sugar. This ingredient should not be burning, and it should be made sweet and sour. While the onions are marinated, we proceed to prepare the following ingredients.

The next stage is cutting meat. All meat ingredients must be cut into straws only. This is very important, because the salad "Paparacci Kvetka" has a specific form of slicing, if meat or vegetables are, for example, cubes, then this is a completely different salad. After cutting, cut the meat into a separate vessel, and the sausage separately, and the ham separately.

Then you need to thoroughly rinse and dry the vegetables. All of them must also be cut into strips. Any excess liquid that is released during cutting should be drained. When all the ingredients are sliced, and the onions are marinated, you need to start the presentation.

Salad "Paparac kvetka": presentation

There are two classic presentations of this dish:

  1. All the ingredients are mixed with mayonnaise.
  2. All ingredients are neatly arranged in groups on a plate.

If everything is clear with the first case, then in the second case it's a bit more complicated. When cutting, all the components of the salad should be in separate vessels. From one side you need to put chopped sausage, in front of it - ham. Near the sausage - tomatoes, and near the ham - cucumbers. On the left empty place put onions, in the center of the plate you need to pour mayonnaise. In this form the salad "Paparac kvetka" is served on the table and already at the guests all the ingredients are mixed.
