Beautiful parks in the center of Moscow delight metropolitan residents and visitors of the city at any time of the year. These are favorite places for recreation, walks, meetings and communication in the open air. In Moscow there are countless park areas. But the squares in the center of the city deserve special attention.

Zaryadye Park is an exclusive project

In 2017 Muscovites expect the opening of a new park, which will be timed to coincide with the city day. The idea of the park's creators is striking in its breadth: in a huge area of 12 hectares, there will be 4 landscape areas in Russia: tundra, steppe, forest and marshes. Each zone will artificially maintain its typical temperature, so do not be surprised if the winter in the park is hot, and in the summer - cold. The park will give citizens a unique opportunity: they can, without leaving their native city, get acquainted with the diversity of nature of the vast Russia. After all, the zones will differ not only in temperature and landscape, but also in representatives of the animal world. Each sector will have a small zoo.

Scope of the project

It is expected that a philharmonic society will be located on the territory of the park, which by the quality of acoustics will surpass the most famous world analogues. In the hall under the huge dome of the Philharmonic can be accommodated at the same time 1,5 thousand people. Here, above the Moscow River, a 70-meter floating bridge will be built. It will become a magnificent viewing platform, one of the best in the city, with which the visitors of the park will be able to examine in detail the center of the capital, the Kremlin and its surroundings. The future territory of the park, in the past wasteland in place of the demolished hotel "Russia", is now in a state of reconstruction. Periodically, archaeological finds are found here, which will then be exhibited for visitors to the park. And the old temples, also located on this territory, will be restored. For visiting the park will be open around the clock. Thematic sites will entertain both adults and children. It is planned that this place will be visited annually by about 12 million people. Exclusive Square promises to become a unique place and the best not only in Moscow, but also in the world. There are other equally interesting parks in the center of Moscow. The list will continue the well-known and picturesque place of rest.

Alexander Garden

Alexander Garden, from the day of its foundation - a favorite place for Muscovites walking. It was created by the order of Emperor Alexander I in the framework of the plan to restore Moscow after the fire of 1812. The original name of the garden is Kremlin because it is located near one of the walls of the Kremlin. A little later it was renamed. The garden owes its modern name to Alexander I. The garden is about 10 hectares, divided into three parts: the Upper, Middle and Lower Gardens. The upper garden occupies the territory from the Arsenal Tower of the Kremlin to Troitskaya, which serves as a tourist entrance to the Kremlin. This path is also used by viewers hurrying to attend performances at the State Kremlin Palace. This place can not be called quiet: there are many visitors. The upper garden is located a little below the surrounding streets and is separated from the city noise by the buildings of the Manezhnaya Square. All this along with greenery and well-groomedness creates a special atmosphere and attracts citizens and guests of the capital. The garden is surrounded by a forged fence, and on the front gate at the main entrance flaunts the symbolism to commemorate the victory over Napoleon.

After its restoration in 2015, the building is open to visitors. Today the museum is ready to accept all comers, but visiting it is paid. At an altitude of 18 meters, at the main entrance there is an observation deck, from where the entire park is visible and a stunning view of the capital opens. Hermitage Garden

Parks in the center of Moscow, where you can stay close to nature, attract more attention. The Hermitage Garden is a favorite place for both the Muscovites themselves and the guests of the city. Of the many Moscow parks, city dwellers choose it and come to the street Karetny ryad. And this despite the fact that many other parks are ready to offer more interesting, diverse entertainment and services. Why is the Hermitage Garden so attractive? In it you can relax from the city bustle, noise and exhaust gases, breathe the fresh air, leisurely stroll along the park lanes. Residents of a huge city can enjoy here the silence and harmony of nature, listen to yourself, to your thoughts and feelings. In addition, the Hermitage garden regularly arranges all kinds of cultural events, and three theaters operate on its territory. Only one hundred years ago there was a usual wasteland on this place, but today the garden pleases the view with greenery - it is a real oasis in the middle of concrete jungle.

Park of Culture "Krasnaya Presnya"

Parks in the center of Moscow near the metro is not uncommon. "Krasnaya Presnya" is a square surrounded by modern skyscrapers, in the heart of the capital. A magnificent monument of landscape art is open for visits every day. Here you can stroll along the picturesque avenues and see the unique canals with beautiful bridges, to which the foot of Alexander Pushkin himself stepped. Having visited the park, you can not only relax, but also feel the breath of history, which is saturated with everything here literally.

A bit of history

In the XVIII century here housed the estate of the princes Gagarins, named after the nearby stream Studenets, the water in which was famous for its healing properties. Gagarins built a well in which everyone could quench their thirst. In the XIX century, the new owner of the palace - Arseniy Zakrevsky carried out the reconstruction of the adjacent territory. Under the direction of Domenico Gilyardi, a brilliant architect and innovator of his time, the estate acquired a new face and resembled, according to contemporaries, "absolute Venice in the gardens." In the Soviet period, unfortunately, the manor lost its original appearance, some sculptures and gardens were irretrievably lost. Today, work is under way to restore the former splendor, and this, of course, is a long and painstaking process. For today, the park "Krasnaya Presnya" is a beautiful modern place for leisure activities. Its visitors expect a lot of new and interesting, there is entertainment for every taste: the park hosts concerts, creative meetings, activities for children and festivals, an open-air cinema.

The parks of Moscow in the center of the city welcome guests at any time of the year.
