Learn how to cook asparagus quickly and deliciously

Nowadays, on the pages of various culinary magazines and on the Internet, you can find many recipes for cooking asparagus. Among them there are both classic and exquisite dishes, the taste of which is loved and appreciated by gourmets. This article will list a few of the most interesting and necessary ways of cooking asparagus.

Classic

If you're just starting to experiment with this product and do not know how to cook asparagus, use the classic recipe. To do this, peel the asparagus (peel and remove the wood ends). From the cleaned stems, form bundles (6-10 pieces each), and then bind them with a special kitchen thread. Take a deep saucepan and boil the water with salt, taking into account that it must completely cover the cooked beams.

To properly cook the asparagus, you must set the timer for 15-20 minutes. After the asparagus is ready to move the bundles into a new portion of boiling salty water and wait a little. Then, dry the finished product on a towel and immediately serve it, remembering to remove the kitchen thread that ties the bunch first.

Any hostess should consider how to cook asparagus white and green varieties. The difference is only in the way of processing the original stem: white asparagus is cleaned exclusively under the top, and green from the center of the stem downward.

Boiled asparagus will be especially tasty if served to a table with a special sauce. Here are some examples of such additives:
- Dutch sauce (yolk base with the addition of lemon juice and butter),
- Melt the butter, add parmesan and dried ham,
- Melt the butter and mix it with small breadcrumbs.

Do not think that you can cook from asparagus, except her usual cooking, only complex dishes. For example, consider another very simple dish.

Asparagus baked with cheese
For cooking, clean and boil the asparagus stems also as described above. Additionally, add a small amount of butter and a pinch of sugar to the water.

Before you prepare the asparagus, prepare the baking dish: grease it with fat and pour finely grated biscuits on the bottom.

Put the cooked asparagus into a mold, sprinkle it with grated cheese, and the remaining breadcrumbs, lightly pour melted butter and put in the oven. Since the asparagus is already ready, it is worth waiting for the cheese to melt, hold it a little longer and turn it off. This dish will be an excellent garnish for meat.

It is very important to properly prepare the asparagus, especially when cooking, because otherwise it will be boiled and not suitable for making other dishes. Therefore, practice well before you start cooking the next culinary masterpiece.

Asparagus dressed with mushroom sauce
Nobody dares to call you a bad cook, if you know that you can cook from asparagus such a delicious dish. Its creation will require patience and diligence, but the result will be worth it.

Sauce Gribish. Divide the boiled protein and yolk, chop from in different bowls. Mix the yolk with egg yolk from a raw egg, add to it half a teaspoon Dijon mustard and a tablespoon of white wine vinegar. Beat the resulting mixture until smooth, adding olive and peanut butter. Then combine with crushed protein, sliced capers, pickled cucumber and shredded greens (parsley, tarragon). The sauce must be put in the refrigerator.

The Croutons. Cut a few bread hearts, grease them with olive oil, top with Parmesan, add salt and pepper. Croutons will be prepared 10 minutes in a preheated to 200 C oven.

Asparagus. Asparagus boil in the usual way, it is enough to keep it in boiling water for 6 minutes. Then get rid of excess moisture and divide the finished stems into several portions.

Asparagus is served to the table with croutons and sauce.
