How to do shugaring at home

Nowadays many beauty salons along with wax epilation offer so-called shugaring. For those who know a little bit of English, it will immediately become clear that we will talk about "shugar" or sugar in translation from this language. Despite the fact that modern beauty salons position this type of services as absolutely new, in fact, epilation with a syrup based on such natural ingredients as honey, sugar and freshly squeezed juice of various plants, was known back in antiquity.

Especially popular "sugar hair removal" was among the eastern women who performed shugaring at home, carefully preserving the recipe for the preparation of the syrup. Based on this, it is safe to say that with this hair removal you can avoid visiting the beauty salon by making the same syrup yourself.

In order to have an idea of what it means to home-grown shugaring, consider the simplest formulation of syrup preparation.

Recipe
Prepare 0.25 g of sugar, water (2 tablespoons) and lemon juice or citric acid (2 tablespoons) beforehand. Take a small container and put it on the stove, pour out all the ingredients and mix. Then close the lid. Remember that the heating temperature should be minimum, so that the sugar does not burn. Mix the contents of the container more often. The syrup is almost ready, if the mixture foams and turns brownish, that is, at a low temperature you will see it in 20 minutes. Hold it for a few more minutes, then remove from the plate and wait for the finished sludge to cool. This is necessary to ensure that shugaring at home does not cause burns. But do not wait until the caramel stiffens, otherwise it will have to be heated again.

Procedure
In order for a home-grown shugaring to be carried out according to all the rules, the procedure should be carried out as follows:
1) the properly prepared sludge is easily kneaded by hands (if not, then warm it up a little in a microwave oven or on a stove), do this until you see that it has become light,
2) stick the lump to the epilation zone, flatten it in the possible area and tear it off sharply - the result is the same as when waxing: hair will remain on the sludge, and the epilation zone will be perfectly clean,
3) Do the same on other sites.

Many reviews of shugaring say that the ball melts, but it should be so. If the ball melts, then take another, because the former is no longer usable. In addition, remember that you need to glue the ball in the direction opposite to the growth of hair, and tear off the growth. Thus, you will grab most of the hair and thereby prolong the duration of the sugar epilation.

Why is shugaring better?
If you are really interested in this question, then you can read reviews about shugaring, which leave the ladies who used this method of hair removal. In this article they will be summarized:
1) growing hair will not be any more, as the mashed ball is torn off in the direction of hair growth,
2) the absence of burns and irritations, since the work with the sugar ball is carried out at a temperature corresponding to the body temperature,
3) shugaring at home differs hypoallergenic,
4) the hair does not break off, but is torn together with the shugaring paste, which ensures the smoothness of the epilated zone.

In addition to the above advantages, shugaring at home is different in that sludge, once cooked, can be stored for a very long time. Therefore, there is no need to throw out leftovers - they will still be needed. Before the procedure, you just need to warm up the stored paste, which will not take more than a minute, while the wax epilation will take a lot more time.

Any lady will be glad that the robe or homecoming dress will not be spoiled , since the shugaring paste is washed like ordinary sugar with water and leaves no traces of wax.

In the end, the question is quite appropriate: "Is it worth paying for what can be done without difficulty at home?".
