How I cook the most delicious spinach soup

Spinach soup has become a frequent guest on my dining table. I like it because of its taste qualities, and also because it brings immense benefit to the body. Despite the fact that spinach has a light, slightly sour taste and almost no odor, it received a high title of "king of vegetables" and another funny name with a hint of "broom stomach".

His homeland is considered sunny and ancient Persia, and we enjoy this vegetable from ancient times. There are so many vitamins and mineral salts in it, not to mention iodine, iron, folic acid, vitamins A and C.

When preparing dishes from spinach using heat treatment, all useful substances are preserved, which is very rare.

This vegetable is good when torn off fresh from the bed, but it can be harvested and for winter in sufficient quantities, for example, freeze or dry. Spinach is steamed, stewed, and yet, the housewives can preserve it in the form of mashed potatoes. Let's more often dishes of spinach to their children, they like them, and many health problems will simply go away.

Today our guest is a tasty and useful spinach soup, but he came to us from Hungary. Soup in Hungarian we start to prepare by carefully washing the spinach under the stream of water. Then we dry it thoroughly and send it to boiling water, where we will cook until ready. Then we remove it and leave it to cool, but do not pour out the water in which it was cooked, it will still come in handy. In the vegetable broth just the most valuable remains.

Then spin the spinach with a blender. Warm up the butter and send it into a small onion cut into small rings. Thanks to him, spinach soup will acquire a note of poignancy and piquancy. Lightly cook the onions until transparent, do not forget at the very end of the frying to add two st. Spoons of flour.

And now we send our fragrant frying to a vegetable broth in a saucepan, which remained after cooking the spinach. Add to it our main ingredient, which we pre-chopped.

The following ingredients are spices to taste: fresh, freshly chopped black pepper and table salt. Now cook our useful soup until it becomes thick. After that, there comes a time when you need to pour in the cream. At the same time, we stir our soup, bringing it gradually to a boil. He is already so delicious, you lick your fingers!

But to give it a special chic, put the boiled homemade egg and the toasty pieces of fragrant bacon into the plate before serving.

From such a soup the most demanding gourmet will not refuse, because it is cooked with love. And how much useful in it! If there is it often, the excellent health of the whole family is provided.

Soup, spinach in which plays a major role, was prepared with the help of such products:

  • Spinach - 500 g;
  • Water-2 l;
  • Butter - 60 g;
  • Onion - 1 pc;
  • Flour - 2 tbsp;
  • Cream (10%) - 200 ml;
  • Salt to taste;
  • black pepper;
  • Egg - 3 pieces;
  • Bacon 150 g.

The soup of spinach frozen is not less tasty. In truth, fresh it only happens in season - in summer, but it does not matter, because the vegetable is perfectly frozen.

For cooking, frozen spinach is blanched in boiling water for 25 seconds. After it has cooled down, beat the mass in a blender, make sure that it is homogeneous.

Next, warm up the frying pan and pour in it sunflower oil, fry in it onion, which was cut into small cubes.

At this time our pan is already on fire, in it we breed a cube of fragrant chicken broth. There we send medium sized potato cubes, cook until ready.

Now in the soup pour the puree of spinach, add, citric acid and bring to a boil. Our magic soup is ready!

Products we used:

  • Frozen spinach 250 g;
  • Potatoes - 120 g;
  • Onion - 45 g;
  • Sunflower oil for roasting;
  • Citric acid - 0.5 g;
  • Water 850 g;
  • Cube of chicken broth - 1 piece;
  • Salt - to taste.
